Why not? Because it’s cheaper to just pay her off, attorneys advise big name clients all the time to just write the check so you don’t waste time going thru court, paying fees, plus as a full time athlete you might not have the time to fight it. Honestly if your not convicted or even charged I’m not going to hold it against you. On top of that nearly TWENTY FIVE YEARS later not one accusation or even a blemish in the guys record shows me the dude must be a genuine person. I’m sure he would have fucked up somewhere over the years.
NOT SWAYED. Don’t want her anywhere near this team if any of what’s been reported is true (I have no reason to doubt @calvin natt ‘s source). And why, after seven years, is she now a “great” HC candidate? Did it really take her that long to “learn the ropes”? If so, she’s gonna have real difficulty taking over a roster with what I’m sure are championship aspirations.
So the rich can pay off the victims to silent some one but again that's don't make not guilty if aligation against you. Some times your past can slap you in the ass later in life. But I am saying he not been a person since that but the past is the past it make you get a job or loose a job that's reality.
How much do you know about what the direct responsibilities of the Blazers’ assistant coaches are, or any assistant coaches around the league? Do you only need to know this for female coaching applicants? About 30 seconds on Google uncovered a USA Today article that provides some insight: “She has been with the Spurs as an assistant coach for the past seven seasons, a front of bench assistant for the past three years and she coached the Spurs’ Summer League team in 2015, 2016 and 2019. Earlier this season, Hammon became the first woman to serve as the head coach after Gregg Popovich was ejected. “Obviously, it’s a big deal,” Hammon said on Dec. 30. “It’s a substantial moment.” Hammon has put in the work. She runs portions of practices, writes game plans and scouting reports for opponents and delivers the intel to the team and works with players on individual development. “Becky’s in a spot now where she’s in a position of power,” Spurs guard Patty Mills told USA TODAY Sports. “She’s able to direct guys on what to do and that all comes from work ethic and what she does behind the scenes and getting herself and our team ready for games. She is an NBA coach who knows her (expletive) and gets it done.” Former NBA center Pau Gasol, who played for the Spurs, professed his unwavering support for Hammon in a story he wrote for The Player’s Tribune three years ago. “I’ve played with some of the best players of this generation … and I’ve played under two of the sharpest minds in the history of sports, in Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich,” Gasol wrote. “And I’m telling you: Becky Hammon can coach. I’m not saying she can coach pretty well. I’m not saying she can coach enough to get by. I’m not saying she can coach almost at the level of the NBA’s male coaches. I’m saying: Becky Hammon can coach NBA basketball. Period.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/7696348002
I posted this earlier and posed the same question. What incentive do NBA players have to lie about the way someone coaches? But I guess we gotta believe an anonymous source instead?
