she probably could buy them, but i don't think the NFL allows someone to own two NFL teams.

Which he never did. Aldridge left as a free agent. Dame is just starting a 4-year contract.

I don’t find it at all to be a similar situation but if you do, that’s cool.

i would add that listing a summer league championship is hardly part of a potential champions pedigree. Otherwise Stotts would be a champ right? He won summer league too?

If you honestly think that LMA didn't give any clues that he was going to leave years prior to leaving..... well...... good for you.

But some of us saw the writing on the wall, said he should be traded, and were proven right when he left us at the alter as a free agent despite people like you claiming up until the very last minute that he wouldn't possibly leave us.

Well this thread went off the rails. Not sure what Lamarcus has to do with Chauncey billups other than some meaningless comparison about Crowd allegiance. We dodged a bullet in my view. The dude isn’t ever playing again. Dame will have a long career and do the dirk and Duncan shuffle

Exactly my thoughts. But Mo was actually a very experienced and well respected assistant coach...

I never saw anyone argue Bill Laimbeer was not qualified to coach in WNBA.

I’ll bet you could find women who believe he took a job that a woman could’ve filled. There are also folks that think more African American coaches should get hired as this season a record 10 black coaches were hired in the nba

Because he’s overqualified. It’d be like saying an NBA coach isn’t qualified to coach college.

It amazes me how some people can’t accept that people in here know people that know things, or at least hear things

The Blazers just hired a former NBA player with minimal coaching experience and you brought up Travis Outlaw ... why?

This is a thread about Billups, isn’t it?

Most women are used to male coaches, as the frequency of male coaches growing up is much more prevalent than say… AAU women coaches for boys basketball.

And NBA is the HIGHEST level of basketball. He spent damn near his entire life learning plays, strategies, and competing at the highest level.

That’s like saying Kobe wasn’t qualified to coach his daughters team.

Jesus Christ. Move the goal posts more.

We get it, you want Hammon *at any cost*.

Oh, and if Laimbeer is the example you want to set, Hammon better win a CHAMPIONSHIP in her first year.

    LOL
