I thought Dame had a no-trade clause, but that’s not the case. Ship him to Cleveland if he starts whining about a trade this summer.
Elite shooter - his stock is rising: 6’7” with a 6’11” wingspan, solid athlete. Was my 2nd round target, now it looks like we’d have to sneak into the first round to nab him.
If Wieskamp is out of reach I’d focus on RaiQuan Gray. Built like a tank (6’8” 270) and is legitimately a good passer/handles as a small-ball center. Super sleeper pick. Garza dropped 30lbs but I believe we can still swoop him up as an undrafted FA and take a Summer League flier on him.
I'm hoping we get into the second round and draft Jericho Sims. He's a big that can run and jump out of the gym.

You know , i see a lot of names in the draft. All probably amazing athletes. But sometimes you can overlook a guy who actually can play. I don't watch a lot of college basketball anymore but i watch Sportscenter everyday. And one guy who made a ton of highlights was Luka Garza. I know he's a bit of a plodder, but he has size, and a skillset. Knows the game. Outside chance he could be a Bill Laimbeer type player. Looks to be available in 2nd round.
Hollinger says Kispert has solidified himself as a lottery pick. I guess he had the most athletic stats for his position at the combine.
That's Sam Hauser for me. 6'8" and likely the best shooter in the draft. Can shoot off motion, off the dribble or spotting up. Not going to give you much at the rim but if he's run off the line he has shown some interesting passing ability. Defensively he doesn't have the length to be super impactful but I think he's strong enough and quick enough laterally to have some sort of defensive versatility / value. Rebounds well enough to play some small four. He's probably still gettable in the 35 to 45 range as well.
i would love to see him in a Blazer uni. Love his playmaking, his handle and he plays with a chip on his shoulder. How he's not getting more mention is odd.
If I had to pick a guy who will outplay his draft spot I'd take Isaiah Jackson in a heartbeat. How he is not getting 1st round talk is crazy. He reminds me of a lighter, more athletic Draymond Green...hopefully minus the attitude. He's 6'10" with a 7 ' wingspan. He's a great athlete. He handles the ball very well and is a good decision maker on the break with the ball in his hands. He's a crafty scorer inside and tries to dunk everything. Great shot blocker and is very, very good guarding the ball away from the hoop. Buy into the early 2nd rd and I would bet a ton that he will be a very good pro and the type of player/athlete this team needs. Ideal small ball center.
