Do you ACTUALLY want to understand it, or do you want to listen to a bunch of grifters try to rile you up about it? How about we both buy the book I gave you a link to that pre-dates all this manufactured scare and compare notes? Or are you scared it would hurt your brain?

I’m all for it. Mostly because right wingers go ballistic about it and it gets their panties in a bunch. And makes them look dumb(er).

A woman claims her six year old girl developed obsessive compulsive disorder, not diagnosed by mental health professional but by mom, because her first grade class learned that dark skinned people had bad things done by lighter skinned people.

She could tell her daughter that is true but you can grow up to make things better. Or she can join all white group protesting nonexistent teaching of critical race theory in primary school.

If she was in Germany she would protest teaching about Nazism.

First of all, it's "prejudiced". And second, I'm not. I'm being scrupulously fair.

ABM, you don't actually believe that she knows what she's talking about. You just like that she agrees with you. Plus the fact that she's black means what you believe CAN'T be racist.

Tell ya what, I'll buy your book and you buy mine...then we can discuss. Fair enough?

"Only place it is taught is law school. It's a legal concept, that racial discrimination is not about bad people or bad intentions but that laws and regulations created and reinforce racial discrimination. It's not even startling. And it's true."~@crandc . This is the real answer.

Yeah, totally looks legit. I can't even see the name of the author. I'm guessing you can't find a respectable academic who'd take your side? And no, I don't mean Ben "selling beachside property after it fell into the sea" Shapiro.
"Slaying the false narratives" - ah, it's the calm measured tones that reveal its intellectual heft.

If you've actually read this book you'd be prepared to discuss the issue...I think it's another quick grab cover that you want to staple on telephone poles ............after you've read "Green Eggs and Ham" we can have a discussion! Original thought takes practice. Try it!

Wrong. Again. I've read Dr. Michael Brown's writings and listen regularly to his podcasts. Being boorish comes naturally to you I can see.

    Nevermind, then.

As an aside, though, I'm much more interested in what Robert Woodson has to say on these matters. His finger is much more on the pulse, rather than focusing on divisive platitudes.

Send me an actual link to a place I can buy it if it exists. If it's an actual legitimate publisher, I'll consider it. You're trying to get out of reading anything, aren't you? Maybe because you don't really give a shit, you're happy eating your Fox News pablum?
