I prefer CJ + Nurkic for KAT, but if that trade were not to be, I’d take Simmons + Seth for CJ + DJJ + 2nd round pick
Simmons to PDX won’t happen, it’s been talked about too much for it to happen. My guess is CJ is going to Indiana. CJ for Warren/Turner Dame/Simons Powell/CJ2 Warren/Nas RoCo Nurk/Turner Still need a backup PG but that squad is loaded with 3 point shooters and guys who play D.
I want Thybulle included as well, but only because he's related to my brother in law, so I imagine that leads to free tickets for me.

Maybe we are all wrong and Sixers want to build their team around Simmons (secret!) - so we get CJ for Embiid. Would be okay for me.
I've said several times that if Olshey is going to trade Dame and blow it up, we ought to be rebuilding around the 24 year old Simmons. He is an athletic freak on the level of Giannis, he's probably even more versatile defensively than Giannis, he can dribble and pass better than any big in the game and when he isn't freaking out like he did in the playoffs, he gets to the hole and finishes as good as anyone else. So if we could get him for CJ and every draft pick we can muster, we do it. If we're trading Dame that's who we do it for, plus Thybulle and picks but Simmons is the prize. If the CJ trade requires something inconvenient like including RoCo... you still do it. The guy has already been all-nba, he's going to be a superstar and we all know that's what Dame needs paired with to contend and stay.
I'd love that but I don't get the move for Indiana. Is Brogdon/CJ/Levert/?/Sabonis a contender? It seems like a step back for them. Maybe we'd be throwing in picks?
Why would we trade Dame for Simmons and some unless he demanded a trade, in that case the anti is raised significantly with all teams wanting the most respected player in the league. Simmons would be a non factor imo.
Who is more valuable than Simmons and other pieces the Sixers would offer that you think we'd get coming back for Dame?
I think Jaylen Brown+ is the best possible return for Dame, Simmons/Thybulle or an Ingram package would rank 2nd on my list.
Geez…if Dames was on the Market there could be numerous all stars and some as possibilities and if Neil didn’t consider them and take his time to get the best deal that would be a mistake. Brown or Tatum, Sabonis, Middleton or Holiday and/ or some, Siakim plus. Butler, Towns you could go on and on as teams would want a shot at Dame.
