    he's an idiot because he turned a second round pick into a 15-20 ppg scorer who plays good defense?

    the value is there, the fit we need the coach the figure out.

    That wasn't what I quoted. I quoted about trading cj. I don't trust Neil at all to do anything to actually put another stud next to Dame. He's never proven it and only said token responses when he "tried".

    It's probable that Neil has had opportunities over the years to move CJ but Dame exercised pressure to not as they have been hooked at the hip.

    If we pay Powell 18-20 mil a year like I fear, I don't see how you build a championship worthy team around Dame.

    You aren't getting enough for CJ in a trade to make up for that decision imo

    We traded a 22 year old RFA and a valuable asset with ties to Portland, for a guy who is a UFA and really has no allegiances here and I can't honestly think he had a great time on the team last season. Hard to say though.

    If Norm walks for nothing, yes, Neil is a fucking idiot.

    I don’t know that it’s bleak given that the Blazers have his Bird rights and have shown him that they can put him in a good situation. And the Blazers may not have been thrilled about the prospect of paying Gary his market price.

    Norm needs to play up tempo. Being the 3rd option in the half court with piss poor ball movement was never going to work to his strengths.

    Now that Stotts is gone, I have some hope that he could work aside Lillard with CJ traded
