He was flat and with his defensive skill set or rather lack of defensive skills, he can't afford to come out flat on D. That's the truth but to generalize that not only falsely to both sides of the court in this game but generalizing it to his overall worth as a ball player in the NBA... that was a huge stretch. Why make a huge stretch to shit on the best player we've ever had and one of the highest character superstars the game has seen?
I can't criticism him at all? he was bad in this game and got benched in the 4th because of it. It was embarrassing.
I laugh when I read these kinds of comments. Different players that are different sizes with completely different skill sets being asked to do different things.
Oh. So I guess ranking all time greats is stupid. Might as well sit around a campfire and sing kumbaya and give them all participation trophies. Dame is awesome. You're being a homer if you don't like hearing Durant is better than Dame.
Nothing motivates someone like Dame more than being benched. Guarantee this will make him a better player, and maybe something he needed in his career. Great part is Pop did it, Chauncey had to love this.
Australia couldn’t hit wide open shots in the first quarter, and Argentina hit everything with hands in their faces. But eventually Australia settled down, and easily won on the back of their defence. The whole arena, including all the Australians, gave Luis Scola a minute or two long standing ovation when he was subbed out near the end of the game.
i agree with you but we have no evidence how he will react. he has never been held accountable like this
Sure. Until Durant has a bad game with a tough matchup and Dame hits 8 threes to keep them alive in the tournament. You guys are pretty funny.
I thought Holiday played better and deserved to be in there at the end. But he was sloppy with the ball a few times early in the game. Dame missed some easy shots but he needs to play big minutes too. Rubio pretty much killed everyone who guarded him. Booker certainly could not guard him. I thought the US played best with KD, Tatum, and LaVine on the court together. A lot of length there and good 3 pt shooting. Bam needs to be part of the group as well only because there is no one else. I didn't think Draymond looked very good. But they should not waste their time trying to get BAM involved in the offense, not when you have other stars who need to find a rhythm. He just did not look comfortable out there IMO.
This is nuts. What happened to Rubio? It's like the bizarro-version. Is it really Juan Carlos Navarro in disguise?
