None of this is "schtick", it's asking to have perspective and wait until the finished product is presented before you pass final judgement. If this is truly "it", and NO wants to run things back with Norm at the 3, and these new pieces as potential "answers", then by all means, raise hell. SO FAR, it's not good enough, but as many have said, it doesn't take a crystal ball to envision more moves coming before things are complete. To your point, if Dame really does ask out -- because this is *it* -- MY schtick will be to suggest that this board play nice with BlazersEdge and any other semi-organized fan groups out there, and stage an organized and formal protest against Neil and the Vulcans. If all of that really comes to fruition, it won't just be Neil's fault, it'll be a complete failure at the top levels of leadership. Full stop. But random one-off posts bitching and moaning about things won't make a dent, it'd need to be a full-scale boycott, organized picketing, fan-signed open letter, etc.

Not sure if the rumors surrounding Dame demanding a trade would affect free agents wanting to sign with Portland. If there wasn’t uncertainty with Dame, maybe some free agents would be willing to sign.
The Dame discussion has absolutely nothing to do with these moves. This is all about the bench. And every time a player agrees to sign with the Blazers for next to nothing, someone mentions Dame, implying that he is so fucking stupid that he expected Neil to fix the issue with a max contract of fewer than 6 million dollars. The people saying calm down are simply trying to bring logic/sanity to a board that is barely readable right now. If Neil makes no trades that is another discussion. But bitching every 20 minutes about it is ridiculous.
