In 12 hours, you could have 24 victims walk the plank. Maybe 48 if you pushed the schedule.

Maupin is where my father died on a fishing trip. He died at Shearer's bridge.
    Please be extra extra careful.

Sweet! What outfitter are you all going through? We did River drifters on Saturday, and then Sage Canyon on Sunday. We've used Sage in the past, really like them.

Heading out on Monday with my cousin for a dive bar tour down the Columbia to Astoria. Looks like plenty of places to keep us occupied for at least a couple of days. Then it’s on to Cannon Beach where we’ll “floss the grit out of our teeth” with a boatload of upscale pretentiousness (and much more expensive beer). The whiplash could be fatal………but a vacation is a vacation and I’ll take them where I find them.

Some really good foreign beers are more expensive than other beers but the only domestic beer that I've found that I like is a very very cold Coors Banquet. I only dislike the Coors' family politics but the beer is great. Reminds me of the old Olympia or Blitz or Budweiser or Busch. The new Budweiser has been bought ought for around $50 Billion by a Dutch company that ruined the ingredients and discontinued the Busch. I can taste the taste difference in Bud and no longer drink it.

This morning there was smoke in that sky but the wind shifted and blew it all away. It's been very very nice absolutely gorgeous. We got a half price voucher off of travelzoo.com. made for a very nice vacation, and you can't social distance more than you can on a houseboat, lol.

Found this old cardboard carton hanging on the wall of a dive bar on the Long Beach Peninsula. But of course America isn’t an inherently racist country…… 5E9563BA-DA3E-40A6-9CD8-138427087AA1.jpeg
