that's partially it. has more to do with the lack of a defensive 3 second count. but pop for some reason has decided Holiday should play point and has taken dame off the ball. dame is useless in that role and barely cuts or moves. and when he gets it, he simply passes it to the nearest open player. i dunno what changed between the iran game and the czech game or why Pop decided to change it up but it's taken dame completely out of it. but the reason he keeps getting benched is for his shit defense.
Dame and Bam have been the most disappointing in the Olympics. Dame has been timid on offense, deferring too much. Has looked absolutely lost on defense. The physical play has made Bam look “small” and he is completely lost on offense.
What game were you watching? He got lost on multiple switches, and got benched for it. he even had a heated argument on a missed switch with KD while being the one who was wrong.
He wasn't lost tonight. He switched well, and stuck to his man. I saw 1 shot hit on him, and that was when he got stuck in lane and had to run out to shooter.
