    River,
Just got done with some bass fishing with son & grandson. We did well, all small mouth.

I saw a Blazer roster chart today that had Harry Giles listed as still a Blazer...did we sign him again?

I'm jealous! I had family day with the wife, son, daughter in law and grandson..shot hoops...played ping pong..some board games and ordered some kick ass Thai food for lunch...great day...we thought about going fishing but decided to hang at the boy's house

I can see it. I thought both he and Brown showed some potential. It will be interesting to see their development in the next two years.

Maybe he could be for some team what Markus Howard was for the Nuggets last year (especially AGAINST US in the playoffs)

CONSPIRACY ALERT: notice who his COLLEGE TEAMMATE WAS

I Ubered Blakeney in Portland back in the day when he played for Bulls. He wouldn’t put on his seatbelt which was annoying because of the warning bell that rang for the whole trip.

OK, I get it. You don't like the guy. But his 18-19 stats say that he put up 1.5 3s per game, and made 40% of them.... and 18-19 was a long time ago now. He just shot 90% while being guarded.

I'm not saying he's an allstar, but I am intrigued. I'm looking forward to seeing his next 3 summer league games. Unfortunately, I won't get to see them - I'll be on the Pacific Crest Trail. Maybe a summer league recap video? I'd love to see one.

edit: forgot to mention that he apparently has a great work ethic.

On the plus side: Forrest (comfortably) led the Seminoles in minutes this season, even with two projected first round picks — Devin Vassell and Patrick Williams — on the same roster. Also led the team in assists. 2.3% block rate in his senior year and 3.6% steal for his college career. Weaknesses seem to be not proficient with three point shots and turnover prone.

What bozo merged my "All Things Summer League" thread with the Blazers one? What if I want to talk about other teams and people want a thread just about the Blazers? Meddling mods....

I like Watfords size. NBA body. He was holding his own against a good sized center in Nick Richards. Seemed like he was playing small ball center.

Brown is an athlete but you can still tell he needs to physically mature. He would get to pushed around against NBA players if he played in a regular season game right now. Still he showed pretty good instincts and natural ability. It’s just gonna take time.

Nobody else is really an NBA prospect on the roster. I doubt Beasley/Faried get a contract. I bet we’ll see some sort of 2-1 trade involving DJJ to fill out the roster.

Hes an ancillary role player who is smart and does the things that go unnoticed. I think he's the kinda player thats better with good teammates. Never expected him to light up the SL
