Will we have to wait for Olshey to leave before we get a backup PG?

Zach has been replaced by a few guys who like Zach will waive towels on the bench and not play...Cody Zeller will get the Enes, Melo scraps and Greg Brown will get a chance to earn some burn

It was never a big deal. I have done the commenting on an old thread thing myself in the past. I just laughed about when I discovered my mistake and moved on.

    Worst case scenario:
If the roster stays the way it is now, we will have a force off the bench that is comparable to Clarkson.
Again "if" they stay the same, I would like to see a starting unit of Dame, NP, Shell, Roco, and Nurk.
With CJ being that force off the bench along with Ant, Zeller, DJ, and Little

I would love Little to jump into that starting rotation instead of Shell if he shoots the 3 like he started out lat season. But with Nurk and Roco starting we need the extra floor spacer for NP and Dame to attack the rim.

I honestly think Little with his 7'2 wingspan might be the backup PF. He could not guard the AD's of the world, but who can?
Look at our main competition in the west. Most don't have a POWER forward. Phoenix, Denver, Utah, Clippers, and GS all have their 4 on the perimeter.
New Orleans and the Lakers will be a matchup problem for sure.

If we don't get that 2-way player at PF, maybe we just sign a defender who can't shoot but can at least bring energy and defend for those matchups where Roco and Little are not big enough. Again this is a worst-case scenario.

    ...in the G-League.
    ...maybe.

Not saying he's raw, but if he was a steak he'd still be running around and mooing.

Look around...Dame's already in Portland...we have nothin' to do with that..we still have not filled the roster but we've shed a lot of bench weight..especially Zach Collins ...you decide...Zeller and Brown or Melo and the broken glass project?...we still need a backup big Ed Davis a fragile LaMarcus or an aging Milsap,Ed Davis as insurance.....or a Harry Giles, Skal blue light special...or Michael Beasley for peanuts

I would like to believe that - I really would. I would rather the team succeed than be right about Olshey!
