I hear that but @Propagandist isn't saying anything about social media or speculation. He's claiming to have a source that says Dame has one foot out the door because of this off season that can be seen as nothing more than treading water when he demanded improvement. That's definitely riled up this specific thread.

We got to that point by you misinterpreting someone else's post, but that's OK. You read English much better than I read any of the other languages you speak, so we can let it slide.

    Everybody here has sauces, FAMS.

You ever watch Shawshank Redemption and the guy says that everybody locked up in that prison is innocent? That’s no different than S2. It’s pretty easy to have sauces and not have to serve or deliver in the sports world.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I don't think Lillard is imminently going to demand a trade, but I think the countdown on such a denouement has begun.

I think it's probably true that Lillard no longer feels connected at the hip to Portland like he once may have.

This place will be real quiet if only people who had any real clue what reality is could post. Myself included!

Except the Neil olshey blueprint has been known for years and has been followed to the letter.

So pardon the people who have been paying attention and understand patterns.

The problem is he might really think the team we currently have is a potential contender with Billups as coach.

We know Dame does not feel that way. He has said it himself. He also sounded bummed we didn't get much in terms of free agency because guys turned us down.

We don't have to correlate that to politics when we hear things straight from dame.

The most obvious scenario is trading CJ at the deadline. If Billups can inject ball movement in this team it will result with more open shots for CJ and his value will grow. All you have to do is stop selfish MeJ and I'm sure he will have great stats. February CJ's value might be bigger that Ben Simmons value and that's the proper time to make this trade, not now.
About trading Dame now... It is nonsense. Main change in the team was made - head coach. Dame was probably main reason Stotts was his coach for so long and Stotts was main reason this team was stagnant. Dame should give new coach a shot.
If Dame wants to go to big market to grow - that's other thing. I don't blame him, but it has nothing to do with Blazers moves as they are not finished yet.
Now, if Olshey really made CJ untouchable, that's another whole different story:)

If CJ’s value is higher than Simmons’ by the trade deadline….why trade for Simmons?

Im assuming Jody & Bert have heard from Dame directly, if he's given them an ultimatum, which nobody really knows if he has, or what it involved, if he did. Dame himself has said he see's himself here next season, if he was simply done and pissed I dont think he would have made that statement? who knows where Dames head and heart his and what Jody views for the Blazers going forward? Expect the unexpected I guess.

No of course not. But I doubt Dame is sitting around a message board all day and working himself into a frenzy over our 2nd round picks, our summer league team, our lack of 1st round picks (unless he dislikes RoCo), our lack of cap space (Unless he thinks he and his teammates should be paid less) and that CJ is still on the team. I think he is a little more informed than FANaticals of a sports team who tend to be more emotional as they repeat things over and over and over.

I'm sure Dame is not thrilled about the offseason but is he as furious as some of our fans? Is he breaking down Neils 9 year history with the Blazers on a daily basis? My guess is...... no.

I guess I should have said "at least an 8 seed".

Just saying that's a competitive team. Not much less competent than we are now, but probably much further from being a contender than we are now.

Dame with Embiid is not better than Dame, Powell, Roco, Simmons and Nurk.

So basically your argument is that in *2* years, Damian might get ring chasers?

When he's 33? And that's a selling point to leave Portland?
