I was always intrigued by denzel valentine. His 2nd season he was a 38% shooter from 3, and showed decent playmaking abilities. He ran point in college. He's been injured the last 2 years which seemed to have slowed his development, but would take a flier for the minimum. Of course, much prefer taller options with iur current roster makeup.

that, and his lack of improvement from summer league his rookie year. dude had a sub 50% TS% last year and is 28. I hope we can do better.

 

Tobias Harris is the top get at PF ,IMO. But I like Slo Mo too. Don't think he'd be big on the back up role though. POWER FORWARD, preferably top notch(Green,Harris) are the Blazers biggest need.

Except it's Simmons who absolutely wants out and is saying he won't report to training camp. Let's get a CJ + DJJ for Simmons deal done already. That would be awesome.

 

I get that. That could potentially get us Green in a 3 way deal with GS. Simmons will pout if he gets traded to lil' ol' Portland. So i agree. Just don't see Morey-on doing it. Keeping Simmons and trading Harris, potentially yes for CJ.

 

And Simmons will report. He needs all that cash for that night life.

Remember, Morey-on wasn't in Houston when their owner OK'd trading Harden for a sandwich & bag of chips to be named later. Though the Red Rockets did do well in the Draft, by early results.

Thad Young or Nance would fit perfectly as another big that can pass, shoot competently, and play defense. Plus, either would be OK coming off the bench (if we're keeping CJ). Of course, I would love to find a way to get Barnes and bring CJ off the bench.

DJJ/Simons seems worth it for Young or Nance IMO. Not sure how you get Barnes without including Nas, and not sure it's worth it then.

Reddish stats went down from first year to second while Little's went up. Little's efg% .575 last year to Reddish .428. That's a huge difference.

 

If TJ Warren is healthy, I'd try to get him.
