    If the Lakers' only goal is to be better than the 2021-22 Blazers, they should manage to meet that goal.

    You were comparing them to the Jordan/Pippen Bulls earlier, which is a little bit higher a standard.

    How will Lakers have a better record than Lakers this season? Lakers were play-in team last year and got worse in the offseason. I think their ceiling is 5th seed.

    I assume you mean, how will they have a better record than the Blazers, and the answer is better health for James and Davis. If they're as injured this season as last season, they're going to struggle.

    I'm happy we don't have a Christmas game. I'd watch some if they did, but usually with family most of the day, so it'd be background more than anything. Glad our guys get to be with their families.
