. Like i tend to do?

okay. Not sure what that means but whatever…

    anyhow i asked his thoughts.

the hypothetical is the whole reason the masks are required. Just in case right? hypothetically speaking right?

Again. If everyone is vacced and everyone who isnt has tested negative recently, then why the masks?
We were told to get vacced to get rid of the masks.
Im sorry the goalpost keep changing and some of us question that and that questioning inferiorstes some so but hey

Just tape our mouths shit from asking questions and tell us to fall in line right?

I love how asking questions brings forth so much hostility from those who claim they for the good of others….

if so maybe dont get so angry and belittling and just try to understand not everyone thinks the same, facts are not out to determine clearly whether masks will help IN THIS SITUATION

and many of us have been falling in line but feel like we just het pushed from one line to the next.

Again. Im fully vaxxed. I wear my mask everywhere required. But i have a right to ask questions and frankly the responses and how they are belittling is quite telling.

    Just sayin.

its possible to discuss and have a difference of opinion about the semantics without having to insult others or belittle others.

im not on here saying this is stupid and the pro maskers can go fuck themselves. Im just asking questions…

    telling the responses

Good. If you have a problem with not being given a privilege, check yourself.

These are your consequences for your right to choose. Deal with it.

Why the masks? because of the possibility that still exists that a vaccinated person could potentially spread to an unvaccinated. My 11 year old isn't eligible yet for the vaccine. So without a mask, I'm putting her at risk by going to a large unmasked gathering. The masks help a great deal in alleviating some of those risks.

Kind of agree with this. Not that I disagree about masks. Just that I wear one all day and would rather not have to all evening as well.
Television for me will work well.

Precisely. If the vaccinated can still spread, and the unvaccinated can still enter with a negative test, then it's perfectly reasonable to assume that an infected-but-vaccinated individual could infect a negative-but-unvaccinated individual, so wearing masks reduces that risk.

ahh thank you. A valid answer.

i didnt know kids were still inelligible. Leads to alot of questions. First. Why not when they have been giving them away over had abundance in certain places?

how does that work with getting kids back in school? Wouldnt we want them vaxxed to go back to classes? Much like attending an event?

See this is all i was looking for. I never claimed to know all and thought i asked a legit question.
My question was asked without thought or knowledge of the childrens status.

now i understand more of why a mask should still be used at the games.

    Thank You.

CDC has only recommended vaccines for 12-and-older. Not sure if/when that's being reviewed, but presently those under 12 aren't legally permitted to receive the vaccine.

Kids back in school have to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.

Just wasted way to much time reading the exact same argument that has been going on for a year and a half that has already been proven.
Masks are a tool to reduce the spread of the virus. They work.
If you don’t want to wear one then don’t but be prepared to be excluded from certain venues and public places until this is over.
    Simple as that.

That would be ignorant. Of course, I'm not sure how that's relevant to this conversation...

My brother just got a third dose of the Pfizer vaccine. He’s immune-compromised due to a kidney transplant. Zilch reaction to the shot.

so what your saying is i never had to get vaxxed and could just keep wearing my mask?

even though we were told if we get a certain percent of the populous vaxxed we won't need masks?

Its not the exact same argument. Some people need to remove the red from thier vision and read.
To ask if a mask works is not the same as asking if a mask still works once everyone is vaxxed or tested negative.

some of you invite the opposition with your smarter than though comments. Im surprised some of you vey bright individuals arent able to see its yoyr own belittling that keeps the opposition coming back.
Maybe stop acting/sounding so superior to those who have a different opinion and it wont keep going

You attract more bees with honey than vinegar.

or some can continue with…” fuck anti vaxxing idiots. Let them die. Fuck em all”…..

Before anyone says that hasnt been said… its just semantics right?

id also like to ask when it will be over?

when everyone is safely in a bubble and we have successfully killed off our immune system?

    People die. Its tragic.
    But people die.
    Its part of life.
We have grown in population withiut vaccines and naturally built antibodies to the things we aRe exposed to.

    This will never be over.
So then what percent is acceptable to get back to no masks and normal living?

    1. The vaccine protects you, and reduces the likelihood of hospitalization, benefiting society as a whole. You wearing a mask isn't to protect yourself, but to protect others
    2. The "everyone getting vaccinated will eliminate the need for masks" promise was based on poor assumptions. They were wrong, and are adjusting to that wrongness.
