Rondo actually could help, maybe as a player/coach. He knows how to be a pest at playoff time, which doesn't hurt either. Unless he's coo coo for Cocoa Puffs, and not worth the trouble anymore.

How the fuck do the Lakers have any room for anyone else? The Cap is total BS.

I could see the Miami Heat coming in to swoop him up.

Minimum deals bruh. We could theoretically offer him 2 million or so more but if he wants to take less money to play for a team that is going to be a bigger threat to win the title, not much you can do.

Wow nice addition of Rondo if the Lakers can pull it off. He would be great here in PDX.

    Portland Trail Blazers
Before acquiring Nance, the Trail Blazers also had an interest in Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks, sources said.

I would’ve been heated if they gave up a first for Brooks jfc don’t even wanna think about it.

Scalma -- May I ask why you would have been heated cause Brooks has shown himself to be a good scorer at times but have not paid attention to his D outside his time as a Duck since I do not watch Griz games but I am curious. I would be open to bringing him in and just looked at his stats and he averaged almost a steal a game for his career and he is 6'7 so he is not short like most of the other SG/SF on this roster.

I don’t think he’s worth a first round pick. He graded out as a negative on both ends of the court. He’s inefficient offensively. His WS/48 would’ve put him ahead of only Elleby last season (for the record McLemore and Snell were also both superior in both that category and VORP)

Would’ve been a terrible move. Just my opinion tho

Plus he's a hot head, and i truly doubt he would be happy coming off the bench.

yeah and he also would’ve just been another guy that might’ve taken minutes away from Nas. I’m all aboard the get Nas minutes train so everyone else can get out of the way.

Lakers sign Rondo to 2.6 mil. contract. NBA allowing Lakers to bitch slap cap again. The CAP is a total scam.

There is not much left out there on the FA market outside of Milsap and after Nance trade he makes no sense so IF the Blazers go out and sign someone I believe they need to have some size 6'8 and above and play D and be happy with spot minutes so this is who I think the Blazers should look at :

Bismack Biyombo -- He can rebound and play some D -- not a great scorer but would be solid for spot minutes

Luke Kornet -- Looked at his stats and not a sexy player he does the little things or big things for this team -- rebound - decent shot blocker and over 7 foot -- but for a 3rd stringer would be a good insurance policy in case Z or Nurk get injured.
