Nurk extension?

Nurk needs one thing to beast....an audience....he needs a crowd...he's not going to shine playing to an empty bar..it's like crack to the guy to have a crowd behind him and he hasn't had the big homecoming really yet since his injury...I think Nurk has a career year and gets a solid contract extension next off season

 

And a Sky Hook.

 

pretty clear advantages for Capela except in assists

Capela does have an injury history...kind of similar to Nance but not as worrisome as Nurk's.

one big advantage for Capela, at least that I've seen, is that he's much more mobile defensively and can guard stretch bigs on the perimeter much better than Nurkic. Still, 21M/year seems pretty high

 

i think that contract is quite an overpay for Capela given the market for centers that can't shoot. But it does somewhat contribute to setting the market for Nurk. I think the 2 yr, 46mil extension for Capela was about as much as he was eligible for.

I know it's not common for Nurk to block, but he is the guilty one.

 

No one shoots that (lost art) anymore. I'd love it but I'd settle for a Kevin McHale jump hook.
