Well, you answered a question with a question.

It's annoying. Makes one have to go back and search through the masses to respond.

When I was working in Atlanta with my father I remember going into a grocery store and seeing a Black man hold the hand of a White woman while they were shopping. Non one batted an eye, that was Atlanta in 1965 and they have not turned Right since then so imagine what it's like now, Liberal, Liberal, Liberal. Hey, ABM used to live in Atlanta and loved it. A closet Liberal?

    No I didn't.
And considering how many times people asked you a question and you changed the subject, not sure what you are complaining about.
Just because you don't like my answer doesn't give you the right to personally attack me with your bullshit amateur psychoanalysis crap.

You're correct. It was riverman. My bad on that. I'm sorry. That said, the way the question was meant to be asked (and I edited to reflect it) was would you support a law that would allow women to abort their babies up to 60 days after birth...due to health issues, etc., with the baby.

That's not what an abortion is.

There is no such thing as an abortion after birth.

Yeah, but @crandc, would you support a law that would allow women to abort their television sets 30 years after they bought them?!?

After 30 years just get a new one. A 30 year old TV is way out of date.

Currently, no. I'm asking, though, if you would support a law that would allow a woman to arbitrarily terminate her baby within 60 days after birth due to birth defects, etc.?

This was a very insensitive and hurtful comment. Do you even realize that?

Slippery slope fallacy arguments are complete garbage. Using one to help your point does the opposite.

I'm convinced it eventually won't be out of the question. But, yeah, it won't happen next year, nor the year after.

Would you support a mother's right to try experimental gene therapy on a child born with severe birth defects?

Parents should not have to use heroic measures to prolong the life of a child who has no chance of a real life. Sometimes letting nature take its course is the kindest thing to do.

As for positive action to end a life of suffering. I have done that for my beloved cats. Could it be done to end a child's suffering? Tough call. I am not afraid to say I honestly don't know. Never been in that situation. Maybe I can't judge.

Understand I am talking about little to know chance of decent life, not a bad cold.
