Agree, but if I have to choose to go to a conference in Dallas or Houston (does not happen to me often anymore, thankfully), I choose Dallas, and I don't like Dallas. I am sure Houston has it's nice places, but most of my visits left me with a negative impression... I am sure there are people that like it.

There are no limits to the number of bounty hunters who can sue over the same abortion.

Texas requires medically unnecessary ultrasound followed by waiting period. A woman got the ultrasound. No fetal cardiac activity yet. So she could squeeze in under the law ... except when she came back after waking period cardiac activity had begun. No abortion.

Supreme Court voted 5-4 to keep law in place during court challenges. All three Trumpers voted for forced pregnancy.

We need the Marines to rescue women from Taliban controlled Texas.

I have a granddaughter that just enrolled at Baylor University and have two grandkids at Oregon, 1 at OSU and 1 at Western.
All are great kids, and I will not criticize them for their choice of schools. Baylor gave my granddaughter a 100K academic scholarship and she enrolled in Pre Med. She accepted the best financial offer and what she felt was a great pre med school. Her parents are liberal and just got back from moving their daughter down to Waco, the first thing they said to me when they returned, was how nice the people were in Waco very hospitable and friendly, even more so than the vibe they feel in Portland and hey love Portland.

I sincerely hope she doesn't have an unwanted pregnancy while at Baylor.

She's only going to school in Texas and if that ever happened she still has choice.

It's a misconception that people in the south are angry all the time...I found friendly people all through the south but anger in the colder states seemed to be a pattern ..still I won't be vacationing in Texas or Florida for my own political reasons...nothing against the locals who lead sensible lives

Many (not all) of the Texans that come to Wyoming (a shit load of them) are pretty big douchebags. I think they try way too hard to flex their “I’m a country boy” nut and just end up making a fool of themselves. Most don’t really know dick about ranching, hunting, fishing, any of it. Just being honest would go a long way. Good looking girls though.

Not surprising - 85% of Texans live in urban areas.

I always laugh when Texans talk about hunting, their version of hunting around here is going to a private ranch, spreading some deer corn in a clearing and then sitting in a blind waiting for the deer to come to them. I'm no expert by any means but the one time I went with a friend back home it was far from that experience.

Texans are just trying to get ahead of the game because all those Californicators are eventually going to change the politics of the state. The dwindling conservative majority is just throwing up roadblocks to prolong their hold on power for as long as they can…..

How much longer until someone starts using this against female republican politicians, or the daughters and wives of Republican men? Just seems ripe for trolling, the poor women in this state. The courts are going to become log jammed.

Franklin bbq is outstanding. Austin is great because it is very liberal. Keep Austin weird was a catchphrase before Portland stole it
