    It’s ONLY about the numbers.

Not true at all because we would’ve had at least another average center in his place and Kanter lost us some games because of his poor defense.

If you believe it’s ONLY about the numbers, how do you feel about those Winn Share numbers?

Got to back you on this. Kanter does things that don't get as much appreciation. Part of winning is winning during the season as well. Kanter does things that win you games that get you in a position to win games in the playoffs.
You have to make the playoffs to win in the playoffs.
Would love to have Kanter on the bench again this year.

Lantern did a lot of good things for us last year but protecting the rim wasn't one of things. You can't protect the rim with your hands down all the time.

Point was he had a huge impact on games they needed to win. Without him last year they don't even make the playoffs.

I am not saying he didn't have impact on the games we won. But you can say the same thing about the loses too. But overall our defense was trash last year but I just stating his shirt falls on defense. Plus the defense stats has a lot of things put into it to get the overall defense stat.

I know. You got some people in here saying we could be #1 next year. Doesn't seem like non fans feel that way. I wonder why that is.

How do people feel about the Warriors? I'm just not convinced. If I was the Suns I'd definitely feel dissed.

Thompson won't be back until December. Even then he might not be the same player he was before his multiple injuries. He will be near the same shooter, but won't have the speed he used too.

They have some intriguing youth to balance out the veterans. They will be decent. Probably worthy of a 7th seed.

The Blazers play a three guard offense. I’m sure you meant where are Dame, CJ and Powell. (or maybe Simons)

Given how much hes owed - trading him for an expiring contract & a bag of potatoes would be a win

    https://clutchpoints.com/rockets-ne...the-best-fits-for-rockets-star-john-wall/amp/

CJ McCollum’s bold take on the best fits for Rockets’ John Wall

“It’s going to be hard for them to find a trade partner, he may have to forfeit some money,” McCollum said. “I never suggest people giving up money, but happiness is really important. If you’re going to be looking for a buyout or trade, they have to make the numbers work.”

“I think there are a lot of potential destinations for John—a fast point guard who can obviously pass, who can lead the break and finish around the basket,” McCollum said.

“I think it may make sense for him to go to L.A. (Clippers). He is training out in LA right now… I think he enjoys the life and he probably wants to go to a situation where he can compete for a championship, and I think the Clippers are one of those teams that gives him a chance.

“The Miami Heat are one of those teams that gives him a chance and I think he will consider all options. I think he brings a veteran point guard who can play a role and go out and get you 25 (points) and 10 (assists) if he needs to.”

I can't imagine any of those teams has made an offer to Houston, unless Houston sends first round picks out along with Wall. If I'm Houston I don't send out any picks, they aren't trying to win or anything anyways. I'd rather wait until something changes such as Westbrook on a similar contract gets injured and then they can flip him, this time with a pick coming back.
