so try maybe, I don't know, responding to that post instead of just responding to the same one over and over? Or did you just all the sudden go "ha, I was kidding. I meant this OTHER post you made (that doesn't make sense in context of anything I wrote down)."
Again, you're not responding my assertion that you had made a senseless response regarding the topic of "foisting". You simply wanted to deflect. I've been calling you back to the germane content, but you appear to be uninterested. Here's the exchange:
Great. Where does Jesus condemn it? Where does the Bible say marriage is between man and woman? The original text uses the word “soft”. The new translations changed it to homosexual. It’s not Christ’s word, it’s people with agendas who’s words some obey
My problem isn't your beliefs. Or your right to believe. It's that you have been exactly foisting them on you with your antigay remarks, your determination to weigh in on what is NOT your damn business and your repeated proclamation the most important issue for you is FORCING women to carry every pregnancy under every circumstance. Not expressing your unwanted and irrelevant opinion but voting for people who will enact laws to force birth on women. No matter what.
OK, you keep believing that. The fact is, I don't agree with same-sex marriages. So what? If they are legalized, they're legalized. I accept that. Still doesn't mean that I agree with the outcome. No foisting is involved whatsoever. And, if I choose to support and/or vote for someone with my same beliefs, so be it. Last I checked, though, they would have to be voted in by the majority. Again, no foisting involved. Pretty straight forward. No pun intended.
I love when someone does something, then denies they did it and to prove they didn't, they show evidence of doing exactly what they're denying that they're doing. Real Mensa work there.
If a person doesn't agree with same sex marriage then they can simply not marry someone of the same sex....that's as far as it goes but if a man thinks he can vote away women's rights for any religious or faith based reason...that person is out of line and has no right to contribute to a movement to strip women's rights away no matter what Grand Wazoo you pledge allegiance to. Stay in your lane.....fuck Texas abortion laws
Most would point to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah or Leviticus where it says, "Man must not lie with man." To Christians the Bible in its entirety is the word of God. To me, it is a book written and edited by men. But, hey to each their own.
this just tells me the celibate monks who wrote the King James Bible preferred sex standing up ....nobody knows more about sexual taboos than celibate monks! Consider for a moment that when the bible was written women were used as trade currency for family fortunes...and had zero rights as far as choosing a mate...yeah...let's follow that path eh? Not.....women throughout history were denied the right to choose...some still are in places like Afghanistan....
I am a Christian and know the Bible well. Christianity can really be broken into two groups, Old Testament vs New Testament Christians
