Except I did play. Which was kind of the point I was making, that he would come back just fine.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
This will be the first ever full ACL tear of the nose. Out for the season.

    a crushed nose....yikes!!

that will likely mean he'll miss the first couple weeks of the season...maybe more?

Would it be churlish to speculate that this is another in a long tradition of Blazer big men with chalk for bones?

I do wonder if Zeller's surgery increases the chances of Chriss making the squad.

If it was Kanter, he’d be playing tonight!

That’s the unfortunate part of being players who not your roster with a history of injuries, they get injured. Nurk should play 82 games though, so we should be fine.

Which is strange, because the Blazers don't play tonight.

Though, with Zeller being out, Kanter would provide the same defense.

You can joke all you want son, you know what I meant. People on here have been saying how obvious it is that Zeller will help us more than Kanter ever could….. I’ve been saying since they signed him that won’t happen, simply because he won’t be healthy. This is a joke. Paying him more than Enes got in Boston did right. Time to tap into that deep bench…… oh wait.

I thought both Zeller and Kanter signed for minimum contracts this season...?

if that's true than the reason Kanter makes more is he's been in the league longer than Zeller

Kanters defense makes him hard to play major minutes in this league.

Enes signed for 2.6, Cody signed for 2.4

now, correct me if I'm wrong, but 2.6 is larger than 2.4.

again, they both signed for the minimum contract. Their teams will each pay a bit over 1.6M and the rest is paid by the league. Kanter makes more because he has 2 more years in the league than Zeller. That wouldn't have changed no matter where they signed

but I suspect you know that and are just giving HCP some grief
