The only thing I cut in life is corners, hair and "the" cheese.

A sorta serious prediction: if Melo plays regular minutes this season, people will be asking why AD's defense has deteriorated so much.

I really like what I saw in the short time of Zeller on the court. Does all the little things that help you win games. Nothing against Kanter but I think Zeller will be better for the team

so why on earth did Olshey let Kanter go and opt for an injury-prone replacement? I’m sorry but Kanter appeared to be a great teammate and in team sports, there is such a thing as “chemistry”

That chemistry led to a first round exit. Who says Zeller won't provide chemistry?

The question shouldn't be Zeller or Kanter. It should be Zeller or Hollis-Jefferson. Because Hollis-Jefferson, not Kanter, is who we played at center when the season was on the line. I'll take Zeller (and Nance) over Hollis-Jefferson. Easily.

i dont disagree with that and if you look at his career three teams have taken him back a second time.

    That shows me two things.

he is a great locker room teammate. Team player no doubt. But we knew that from him being here.

It also shows those teams got rid of him a second time. Toronto. Boston. Portland. All trying to contend and all of them felt he is not a fit or wouldn't have let him go twice.

To address your NO question. I think its very likely that NO conferred with Billups and Billups said he wants a defensive backup big.

    Zeller is out

    again

chemistry as in “cheerleader” doesn’t help a team win. Last year when Nurk went out with a broken wrist we had Kanter to keep us in games. Now? Coach wants to use RoCo or Nance as fill-in? Yikes, we’re in trouble before this even gets started.

Given that he sold and cleared out his house just last week, this stretches credulity. Maybe Morey and Paul are agreeing to send out that message to bump up trade offers?

I guess I'm in the minority

Seems like the solution would be to do what Houston is doing with John Wall...

how exactly does him showing up, or even playing manage to do that? everyone knows they still want to trade him, and that he still wants out.

When Morey used the Rogers Packers reference a month ago I felt they would come to an agreement and look to move him before the deadline. This way it helps both parties improve their position.

Well that Simmons camp firm ultimatum to hold out "all season" lasted until 9 days before the regular season.

I guess the Sixers will send out a "be nice" notice to fans who come to the game.

Well, it looks like Ben's camp blinked first.

It doesn't change the fact that we know what Morey's offer to us was and that Olshey should be able to get Simmons with a counter offer of CJ and like half draft assets requested; likely two picks and a swap or Nas a pick and a swap. Olshey should do that deal and we would be a really good team if Nurk continues to shoot and make those threes.

He may still hold out energy-wise.
