    Of course it hasn't always look like that. It's just funny to me that these grown men are going out of their way with their valuable time to google crime and shit in a major metropolitan city. I can do that to about where you guys live if I wanted to. It's no different than the racists asses on here who kept a thread going for years constantly searching for crimes committed by Mexicans Immigrants and would daily post the links and stories on here. I was blown away they let that thread continue.

    Who said crime doesn’t happen everywhere? I think it’s about downtown Portland and it looks like absolute SHIT. There’s no way anyone can drive or walk around and not see that. And it’s outside downtown. It’s gross. The graffiti and homelessness is out of control. What are you arguing? Seattle, LA, SF, San Diego having the same issues. But since we live here, we talk about Portland. Who is gonna come in here and write ‘oh my god you should see the East Village of San Diego’?

    I live in Portland and I'm very concerned. And if you start talking to people I really don't think we're that far apart in our concerns.

    Let me ask you this, do you think the Portland Police, as a whole, are doing a good job right now?

    I sure don't.

    I didn't like the Danielle Outlaw hire and I don't like they just promoted from within for her replacement. A replacement that has kept the same ranking officers in their positions.

    Now there are some in the thread that will blame the political makeup of the citizens for the problems with the police. But I don't see dems, repubs, or anarchists being happy with how this city is policed.
