Lol. But makes it a point to run to a computer/phone and post how beautiful the city is while mocking others?

fantastic picture though. You should add to the picture thread fez no longer posts in. Around town thread?

    agreed. This place is AMAZING!

Also. Me personally. Ive posted actual pictures at times, i have taken… no basement googling required to point out some facts! ;)

Exactly. And why siding with the police who are opposed to this kind of change is harmful and counterproductive.

I understand change is scary. But so is the idea of being shot by police or having my life ruined because a cop is having a bad day.

It's terrifying. Anybody they think might be too weak to fight back legally is at risk of this.
Specifically minorities and obviously poor people.

Camden, NJ is about the same size as Medford. So it would be nice to try this in a bigger city. I do think that Portland is a very good size for us to be a trial city.

Oregon is famous for adopting policies and laws that others have tried and had success with. We are just good at recognizing a good thing early on while letting someone else do the initial risk taking.

What’s going on in Portland? Pleasant walks, chatting with neighbors and enjoying this beautiful morning…

Oh I’ve never ignored it. I’ve just said that shit happens in your neighborhood as well. That is why I want to find out where everybody lives, so we can all wake up and spend our time googling crimes where other forum members live and post them in the appropriate thread. You want to start and be in charge of the Beaverton one?

Ya, I actually wasted 2 minutes looking for crime where my man lives, just to make sure he knew. Wanted to feel what it was like to waste time. Mission accomplished.

    Hot damn.

More than 900 cars were stolen in Portland in September alone

Car thefts are on the rise in Portland. In September alone, 903 cars were reported stolen in the city. In August, there were 805 cars stolen.

For comparison, the highest number of stolen cars in one month in 2020 was 658, according to police statistics.

Police data also shows car thieves strike most often in Northeast and Southeast Portland, with Honda, Ford and Subaru models being the most often stolen.

This is just due to covid. It's safer to steal a car than to risk getting covid from an Uber driver. I'll go back to Uber when the pandemic is over.

catalytic converters are the rage. One was stolen out of the company truck one might last week at work. Two more vehicles in canby.
Cops say there is a huge surge of this going on all over.

I thought your style was more swing from the mast of your own car onto the other car, take it, pillage and bury it in the sand under a X sign.

I guess even the pirates of today are video game pirates. Stealing cars like a thief. Sheesh.

That's such crap. Scrap yards should be limited in taking them only from licensed car repair shops and records should be available to be cross-checked on those shops to purchases of new converters.
