I've been willingly inoculated against everything there is as a child in the 50s, a soldier who had to go overseas and as a potential transplant patient including hepatitis B.

Did you actually read this article or did you just excitedly copy and paste something that might make Fauci look bad? Because the article disproves the title.

Gilles Demaneuf, a data scientist in New Zealand, told Vanity Fair, “I cannot be sure that [COVID-19 originated from] a research-related accident or infection from a sampling trip. But I am 100% sure there was a massive cover-up.”

Are you saying that some data analyst from New Zealand knows more than anyone else. I'm going to have to see some credible evidence of that.

#ArrestFauci trends on Twitter as doctor faces criticism for controversial virus research, testing on dogs
Fauci has been widely criticized for allegedly funding inhuman testing on dogs with taxpayer dollars
By Andrew Mark Miller | Fox News

The phrase #ArrestFauci was trending on Twitter Sunday afternoon in response to multiple controversies surrounding Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Twitter users posted the hashtag calling out Fauci over reports that hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars were used to subject dogs to cruel testing before ultimately killing them.

Additionally, Fauci has been criticized after an NIH official appeared to confirm that taxpayers funded gain of function research on the coronavirus at a lab in Wuhan, China despite Fauci’s repeated claims that was not the case.

In July, Republican Sen. Rand Paul called for the Department of Justice to issue a criminal referral against Fauci for lying to Congress about gain of function research funded by the NIH.

"I will be sending a letter to Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral because he has lied to Congress. We have scientists that were lined up by the dozens to say that the research he was funding was gain-of-function," the Kentucky Republican told Fox News' Sean Hannity.

"He's doing this because he has a self interest to cover his tracks and to cover his connection to Wuhan lab," Paul continued.

Florida governor DeathSantis is offering bonus to any unvaccinated cop to come work in Florida. He calls that science. Not sure where he learned science. Trump University?

Anyone here had their boosters already? Any reactions to note?

Looks like 65+ eligible if you go the Pfizer or Moderna, while people 18+ can get a booster if they got the JNJ. And looks like we can mix and match.

    https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/p1021-covid-booster.html

Today, CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendation for a booster shot of COVID-19 vaccines in certain populations. The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) authorizationexternal icon and CDC’s recommendation for use are important steps forward as we work to stay ahead of the virus and keep Americans safe.

For individuals who received a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, the following groups are eligible for a booster shot at 6 months or more after their initial series:

For the nearly 15 million people who got the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots are also recommended for those who are 18 and older and who were vaccinated two or more months ago.

There are now booster recommendations for all three available COVID-19 vaccines in the United States. Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. Some people may have a preference for the vaccine type that they originally received, and others may prefer to get a different booster. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots.

I do wonder why that there is no Pfizer or Moderna booster authorization for the general public yet or what exactly is the reason for doing so. I preferred Pfizer/Moderna based on the initial data and information available at that time, and I probably still do and would kind of rather want that booster versus the J&J, which seems more problematic than the others.

I'd rather not "mix and match", personally. I'd like to stay with Pfizer.

I think it's just because it's not clear how much benifit the booster would add for Moderna and pfizer. It appears that the j&j should have been a two shot series the whole time...

But it's not recommended as a treatment for Covid-19. So calling it horse dewormer is no more a smear than calling it a treatment for Covid-19...

If that's the case, why is it recommended for immunocompromised or those in "high risk settings"? Why not only recommend J&J booster shots then?
