Don't care that much for mai tais. I greatly prefer a Singapore sling or a hurricane. Tried to get one in a hollowed out pineapple with a little umbrella and a glow in the dark swizzle stick or the same in a hollowed out coconut but couldn't find either on the Kona coast.
My God, that looks perfect. Gotta have my hollowed out pineapple or coconut with dry ice in it and straws out and the coconut eyes punctured with a hammer and a scribe. The coconut top is cut off and used as a lid with the dry ice fumes leaking thru the top. We should start a bar in Hawaii. Those things would sell like hot cakes. Imagine all the sailors you'd have as customers not to mention the tourists.
Never had Santa Barbara eggs before. They are good. Saving pastries for midmorning tea. If I feel energetic I will walk to the beach, about 5 miles round trip. Then I can get ice cream without feeling guilty.
Back home with Lucia. Someone who is nervous crossing bridges and terrified driving through mountains arguably shouldn't live in California, but I don't think Nebraska is a good fit for me.
I'm probably not going to Oregon for thanksgiving. Flights are very expensive. BUT, I'm thinking of going to London Town. Leaving the Wednesday before thanksgiving and coming back Sunday, may be a good international jaunt. Not sure, its about $1k for the ticket, nonstop on Iberia
