It's a more serious problem than I realized. I say we just switch all the public money that is currently going into healthcare over to UHC.

That's far more per capita than Canada spends to cover every single Canadian. they get as good or better results than we do anyway. And then if we want more we can vote to increase spending.

Just received a $655 bill from my insurance for taking my daughter to urgent care after she got her hand broken in a basketball game.

Quick portable X-ray, and they gave her a splint. They are billing it out as surgery. Took 25 minutes total... smell the sweet, sweet, "capitalism"...

exactly. And i feel those that choose higher risks should pay in more.

I swear, I'm losing my patience with how ignorant this country is... I'm about to start supporting a knowledge test to earn the right to vote... this is a disgrace.

 

should have been one a long time ago. I’ve never been under the thought that voting is a right. Its a privilege that most countries dont have.

 

I've always wanted to support the rights of everyone to have a say, but with how effectively corporate and foreign interests can spread propaganda nowadays I'm questioning if logic and reason stand a chance...

 

The reason we restrict voting to 18 and older is because of mind development. When someone lets their mind deteriorate to that of an adolescent, they, to me, have forfeited their right to have a say.

That’s hard core and not how i used to feel, but in this, you and i agree 100%. You know how i feel about fake news and with sooo many people being manipulated, i have zero faith in the masses making sound, good judgment decisions.
