It's like talking to my wife about paint colors or linoleum flooring.

Can we trade Dame for an NFL team? I feel like that would be a fair trade.

I still say it has more to do defense. Defenses had to fear all the cheap ass fouls that were called last year. Offensive players are having harder time getting space, if there was a way to track it I’m guessing Dame is getting his shot blocked more this year then previous years

I saw it in live action. Couldn’t read his lips, but Nance was not happy and was letting Nurk know about it. I couldn’t tell if it was just because of the blown play or if he was responding to something Nurk said to him.

Dames TS% this year vs recent years factored by his FGA and FTA is costing us 7 points per game. That’s enough to turn a championship contender into a 41-41 team.

“I’ve played with it for a few years now, so I’m kind of immune to playing with it,” Lillard said. “I’ve played well, done a lot of things with it being irritated.”

Dame on his abdominal injury. So please no more is he injured excuses.

You prove that Dame has been playing injured for a long time. Therefore it can’t possibly be his injury catching up with him. Please no more Aldo logic.

I used to drink way too many cans of Coke in my 20’s. It was no problem. In my 30’s I started getting severe back spasms from excess Coke and sugar. 30’s is not 20’s.

Is he hurt? Is it a slump? Is he smarter and more sophisticated than Simmons?

I just wish the other shoe would drop and get it over with. Dragging it out just tortures the fans.

Then trade him if you think he’s older and slowing down. What you think I want? He’s still a blazer legend. Let’s move on

He is not old at all.

Look at Tatum, Harden, Embiid. Many superstars struggling shooting the ball. I cannot believe people think Lillard will keep being like this. Hell even Curry's shooting splits are terrible for his abilities. They are just a better team and can win without him being superhuman.

Trying to figure out if you are 15 or did you turn 16 this year? It’s okay. You’ll look back on this someday and laugh.

WHat do you expect my man to say? He’s a warrior and would never blame his play on injuries, never. You need to learn the difference between “excuses” and “reasons”.

Forgot how new you are, wait til this dude gets going in game threads. I can’t believe he believes 3/4 of the shot he types. Bro has obviously never been on a sports team or in the military, you can tell by his choice of words critiquing.

He's not old but he's old enough that an injury he was able to play through before might be affecting him. It's not even a matter of age though as injuries can just get worse. Dame said he's kind of immune. Doesn't mean he's 100% immune, he's hedging.

I'm not even saying it is an injury, but you can't just dismiss it as if that's impossible. Nor do I think he will necessarily keep shooting like this. As I've pointed out many times it could be just variance - no cause at all besides randomness. He's had worse shooting slumps before. How about this 3 point stretch starting 1-16-2015:
    0-5, 3-10, 2-9, 2-10, 2-5, 2-6, 3-10, 1-9, 1-10, 0-6, 0-5
    Total 16 for 85 or 19% from 3
Total 50 for 161 or 31% overall in about the same stretch.

Talent on this team is way better than 41-41 with a normal Dame. But if Dame is going to subtract 7 points a game compared to prior years, which is exactly what he's done so far, then yeah we will be bad. But that will be the reason, not "this roster". How many teams can subtract 7 points from their net rating and not suck?

That’s because the Wilson ball is made out of a blend of kangaroo and dingo hide.
