Hate on Ainge all you want but he for sure wouldn’t have looked at this roster and thought: “We only need to improve the margins. Tony Snell and Zeller will fix our woes.”

LOL..."videos".....c'mon man...you have to know it won't be like that. Sure seems you're implying that it wouldn't matter if it was 25 people making similar allegations, you'll still be on Olshey's side

and by the way, 'testimony' is evidence

I'm sure the Blazers have a Human Relations dept....workplace offenses often require that the person attend counseling and don't get fired after one offense...if it's a different situation I don't understand how it could go on for multiple years without intervention. I expect Neil to be fired but they need more than break room gossip to get off with not paying him off before his contract is up

Yep. If it somehow came out that Olshey was innocent we all would be happy about that. Most of us would still want him gone because we need to move on. Olshey has been content with mediocrity for too long.

I get the feeling some of these people would stick up for Olshey no matter what he did.

You lol at videos, but then there is texts and emails. How did Donald Sterling get caught? How did John Gruden get caught? Thats exactly how. You don’t think if he did do this for 10 years there isn’t one text or email of him being a bully?

Just make sure the ones that hate Neil front office moves over the years don’t get cloudy by allegations, until proven true. last I remember there has to be some form of evidence right? or anyone or an group of people can always falsely accuse someone without proof, that’s not the world we live in but sadly it’s becoming that way slowly these days it seems.

Olshey has never been popular around here...don't know where you come up with that take at all....I expect him to be fired and would be hard pressed to find an S2 member who actually ever liked the guy.

Exactly why he probably won't be punished after the INTERNAL investigation.

Ok fine he gets out of his slump, then what? First round exit? What’s the point man. You have to understand when it’s time to move on. Rebuilding isn’t a bad thing if it’s time

The investigation is being carried out for some reason... one would fairly logically assume that allegations started this whole process.

Now tell me what sports GM or owner has been fired only due to testimony evidence?

the last two I remember was Gruden and Sterling and those two sure had more than testimony evidence to back their claims.

I don't want to look back at anything ...Neil is a suit...a salesman...that's his job...he may be an asshole, probably is but there's a difference between him being an asshole and a bully and him hiring Chauncey and getting Nance, signing Norm and getting Zeller.....those moves I liked...doesn't mean I like Neil Olshey...same people this summer were way off base on Damian Lillard as well....that doesn't hold up as far as how people view the team. People are glass half full or glass half empty anyway. I try to enjoy whatever I can glean from the Blazers.....choices. I don't believe in the mediocrity theme that's been here forever either...you make the playoffs you are doing things right...I'd hate to be a Wolves fan and try to cheer year after year...I have zero attachment to Neil Olshey....

Let's just fire him because he's a terrible GM then.

Sure, but if that's the only evidence, and he offers contradictory evidence, what then?

Then he gets a slap on the wrist or gets paid to not work for the next two years like Terry ...either way I don't think he survives this as a Blazer exec

They should break ground and hire this forum.
It will be the first fan managed sports team in existence.

Testimony UNDER OATH is evidence. Testimony to an investigative firm is not sufficient evidence.

why did Bob Witsitt get fired? Kevin Pritchard? Rich Cho?

GM's get fired all the time without meeting any legal threshold of "cause"

my guess is that this investigation will be some attorney's meeting with past and current employees. They'll be taking statements and those statements might not even reach the level of affidavits. It might be a half dozen employees...it might be 3 dozen. Then they'll compile their findings and present it to the Vulcans. It may be an honest inquiry informing future process; or it may be just cover for an action the Vulcans already intend on taking

I'll say again: all most of us have to go on is Olshey's conduct in press conferences and public statements. Going by those it seems quite credible that Olshey might be a bully and an asshole, and that's leeched into his management style possibly creating a toxic work environment.
