exactly the point and they aren't the only ones. Frys. Barnes and nobles, the list goes on and on for retail outlets shutting down because they dont cater to a large enough population base. Plus all the overhead(irrelevant to this discussion). But point being is more people can buy a pc and or book on amazon than they can at these individual stores.
I think my biggest issue is here in Oregon we are force fed the Chickens and 49ers, baseball every Mariner game is on tv. Then it comes to the actual Professional team that resides in our state and a large portion of the state can't watch them, instead we get to watch an expansion hockey team. Just shows, in my opinion, the blazers don't really care about their fans. The other sports can figure it out, but it was more important to the Blazers it seems to get the weirdly sought after Alaskan market, rather then the state they reside in. The ratings are up, great, but is it sustainable? Are the Alaskans going to start filling the rose garden? I doubt it. I know my family use to drive up for 5 or so games a year, will we this year, doubt it, we are not important enough for them to sign a contract so we can watch the team. The Mariners, Hawks, Niners, all the other west coast teams have figured out how to get all their game on in the Oregon market, but the Blazers can't.
I would choose to take that overhead planimetric view camera and feed it through an industrial shredder.
I have chromecast. I've been disappointed with it's service on my laptop, phone, and tv. Will just switch over to Comcast vs buying more accessories for an unreliable product.
First year in 2 decades I don't have cable or streaming to watch......and so far, it has prove to be a good savings of money.
I stopped watching religiously a few years back, but this year I don't even have the option except for TNT games, and I guess I don't care. barfo
I have listened to games on KORE radio out of Eugene for years but this season they've only broadcasted 2 games...last night they ran a 2 hour program on high school football ..they broadcast Chargers games instead of Blazer games previous weeks ...had to just check the score and watch highlights later....I'm not paying for league pass because it's blacked out too much here. I'm not paying 70 a month for a service either...I can watch tnt games and see how it goes or go to a sports bar ...no big deal these days. Plenty of other stuff to do.
Internet radio my friend. Have loved Demers since Sly put on a meetup with him a few years back. https://tunein.com/radio/Rip-City-Radio-620-s35685/
