    define "sufficient"

answer this: can Jody Allen fire Olshey at any time?

    Vulcans decide what then

Of course they can fire him at any time. The Blazers are a private business entity. However, if they wanted to just fire him, they wouldn’t need to conduct an investigation, they would just fire him. It seems like they have an ulterior motive here to unlock some kind of morality clause in his contract to null his contract.

yeah, I agree that is certainly a possibility

I don't know anything really about what kind of contracts GM's sign in professional sports leagues, but I would not be surprised if there was language aimed at creating toxic work environments. And maybe verbal abuse of employees although that would be pretty damn subjective

Lol. Just because someone is a car salesman doesn't make them a car salesman type. Don't act dumb. There are good honest salespeople and then people that are slimy and full of shit.

If it's one or two employees then you have a hard situation. If it's a large group of employees then you have a pattern of behavior and unless you have conflicting reports besides Olshey touting his own innocence then it's an easy call to make and you fire him with cause.

I am so damn tired of bashing without just context or reason just cause it's COOL to bash NeO. Also I have said it before not a fan of him in terms of thinks he walks on water but I can admit he has done some good and some bad but still try to have an open mind about him unlike most who want to run him out of town with pitch forks.

Also playing devil's advocate for a minute any chance this is blowback from people still upset with him hiring Billups and have decided to go after him in another way ? -- just saying something to consider

    Blowback from firing Terry maybe?
I commend you for keeping an open mind, we certainly need that now days more than ever.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
This isn't a criminal trial, or even a civil trial. All that has to happen is that the Blazers' organization, whomever is in charge of hiring and firing at the GM position, sees enough evidence to believe that Olshey is not an asset to their franchise. That's it. So, there's no point getting deep in the legalese weeds of "how much evidence is needed," "what if it's he said/she said," etc. He's not looking at jail--he's looking at a company believing he's not whom they want as one of their executives. It's far more likely that a company turns a blind eye to bad behavior for years than that they get an itchy wokeness trigger finger.

I don’t know why people are defending this guy. We have seen his behavior first hand.

I know we thought it was funny and we still meme it but the way he treated Ben Golliver ON CAMERA was extremely unprofessional. And that was years ago.

Right? If a contractor built your house, did you "fire" him/her when the job was finished?

Corroborated testimony is evidence. I expect people to come out of the woodwork to corroborate his hostile work environment behavior.

    Buh-bye.
