And yet most people here thought the Lakers would be top three in the West and that the Blazers would be bottom half of the playoff teams. And I believe most people still think that, so this argument is getting tedious. But if you want to set up to crow later, why not start a poll to nail down people's opinions?

Biggest fantasy league drop off I can recall. I bet a lot of homers picked up Westbrook on their fantasy team this year and are now crying about it.

Actually in all seriousness, Russ usually starts out slow and kills it the second half of the season. Weird but true.

 

I think you are right on that. He is usually in absolutely tremendous shape. He seems to simply out work players through the season. Like him or not everyone has to admit Russel Westbrook comes to play every game.

 

I will say this about the Lakers: apparently their end-of-the-bench scrubs are way better than our end-of-the-bench scrubs.
