    After last week's election, this city for the first time has a majority of City Council members who are people of color. It is also the first US city to have a majority of City Council out LGBTQ people. Can you name the city?

    I read something last week about Minneapolis as far as the POC on the CC. I know they have a solid history of inclusiveness, but I don’t know about the LGBTQ piece.

    Utah is deep red but Salt Lake City is first stop for Utah gays and lesbians escaping Mormon families.

    a female friend from hs I had a crush on, was basically forced into marriage early, had kids, then came out. she escaped her marriage and her religion, came out, and lives happily as she wishes in Salt Lake. we keep in touch, and she had mentioned how “open” and free she feels in SLC. very cool.
