No where anywhere did I mention anything about not getting vaccinated. It is sadly predicitable it has come to that type of implication, or about how many Dr's I've talked to about the original point.....which was that a vaccine that only lasted 2 months before needing a boosted wasn't exactly the height of efficiency or quality.

I had it (so have natural immunities which are much stronger) AND got a vaccine. Guess I shouldn't be surprised that instead of addressing the original point, it segmented off into something entirely different.

what are you talking about? I really can't tell

first of all, define "effectiveness"....because I am not sure where you're getting this 2 month benchmark and what you think the data shows

" Between Dec 14, 2020, and Aug 8, 2021, of 4 920 549 individuals assessed for eligibility, we included 3 436 957 (median age 45 years [IQR 29–61]; 1 799 395 [52·4%] female and 1 637 394 [47·6%] male). For fully vaccinated individuals, effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 infections was 73% (95% CI 72–74) and against COVID-19-related hospital admissions was 90% (89–92). Effectiveness against infections declined from 88% (95% CI 86–89) during the first month after full vaccination to 47% (43–51) after 5 months. Among sequenced infections, vaccine effectiveness against infections of the delta variant was high during the first month after full vaccination (93% [95% CI 85–97]) but declined to 53% [39–65] after 4 months. Effectiveness against other (non-delta) variants the first month after full vaccination was also high at 97% (95% CI 95–99), but waned to 67% (45–80) at 4–5 months. Vaccine effectiveness against hospital admissions for infections with the delta variant for all ages was high overall (93% [95% CI 84–96]) up to 6 months."

" In a pivotal randomised controlled trial, the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine (tozinameran, Pfizer–BioNTech) showed 95% or greater efficacy against symptomatic and severe COVID-19 disease due to SARS-CoV-2.
In the early months after its introduction, BNT162b2 has been shown to be highly effective in the real-world setting and to have had a large public health effect on reducing infections, hospital admissions, and deaths at a time when the alpha (B.1.1.7) variant was the predominant strain in Israel, the USA, Canada, the UK, and Qatar.

The continual emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants has raised concern that COVID-19 vaccines could have reduced effectiveness against new viral strains; however, BNT162b2 has shown robust amounts of neutralising antibodies against all variants of concern evaluated to date.
Moreover, confirmatory, real-world studies have shown high effectiveness of two doses of BNT162b2 against COVID-19, especially severe disease, caused by variants of concern alpha, beta (B.1.351), and delta in various settings

it's a long, technical article detailing statistical analysis...if you're interested

I said this in another post, but maybe you should learn a little about influenza vaccination effectiveness to have a baseline to gauge Covid vaccine effectiveness. They are both vaccines to protect against viruses. Flu vaccines wane faster than the mNRA Covid vaccines, and they don't start out with as high a level of initial effectiveness.

and if you're talking about 50% effectiveness for Pfizer and Moderna after 4-6 months, the gauge isn't some imaginary false standard of perfection, it's 50% protection vs 0% protection for the un-vaccinated. And that doesn't even gauge the effectiveness of these covid vaccines to prevent severe illness, hospitalizations, and death in breakthrough cases

Dame has never had the luxury of a player like Draymond. The closest he's had is Nic Batum, and that was 7 years ago.

Why do you hate CJ? That's a total swindle for Golden State.

CJ for Giannis and Middleton and a first round pick.

I hesitate to post this, considering the storm of "CJ-for-KAT" proposals it might set off.

I think his teams play better than their talent level though.

    [Grits teeth] HAPPY FOR HIM!

(Kind of interesting that Portland were widely (including by me) viewed to have won the Bulls-Cavs-Blazers trade, but it's the other two teams that are flourishing.)

And there were people here thinking that trade might put as at #1 in the west. This year's Jazz.

    Hahahahahhahahahhaha
