he responded on a few negative comments on blazersedge facebook page and i can only assume hes reading their site too i dont have proof about reddit, but he also responded fans on twitter even he wasnt tagged and that suggests he types his own name and looks for comments some guys dont care what people say or write, he obviously cares about it, hes sensitive (not kevin durant level, but still)
Every player in the league knows to step in and draw the charge any time Nurk catches the ball while he's rushing to the basket. It's automatic. Just once I'd like to see him be aware of the defender and come to a jump stop. He's not Norman Powell for Pete's sake.
maybe he told it to chauncey billups, but nothing changed or its rich pauls strategy to either give him the bigger role or to trade him
Nurk has a ton of ability. I am rooting hard for him to be the beast he can be. His problem is whatever is going on in his head, and perhaps his emotional state.
Without fail, while listening to or watching the game, you can almost predict when Nurk will get an offensive foul called on him. It's so regular, it's like clockwork. Maybe quit making the same mistakes a rookie makes and your role will improve.
He's having a good year if you look beyond just points for game. His rebounds per game is his best ever and also his two point shooting at .600. His rebounding, screen setting and defense is very valuable although he needs to stay engaged to be effective. I will say again that I think he needs to be able to make a 10-12' open shot consistently if he wants to be more effective. He would also be more effective as a passer if he could perfect that shot. I think that in general, Billups seems to be having trouble installing new wrinkles to the offense, but Nurkic needs to go to Billups and talk about this.
He needs to look in a mirror. His skills aren't being utilized because his shooting from more than 5 feet isn't consistent.
And he is doing so much for our defense in covering up for so many people. Outside of Norman, Nurk is compensating for all the mistakes the other three starters make. I can get his frustration but going to social to complain is straight out of the Rich Paul playbook.
I said fanbase, not franchise, and I interact with hundreds of Blazer fans during the course of a game and postgame stream. He's hated on. Nurk could be shooting 100% from 2 and people would still say he's finishing terribly because he's too soft.
Yet he has a higher TS% than Ayton this year, has the same or slightly better career assist to turnover ratio as Ayton, his net steals vs turnovers is basically the same as Ayton so his fumbles are offset by his steals, and he consistently has better overall advanced stats than Ayton.
I believe I predicted he will tire of Chauncey after a year and start complaining. So, well done on accelerating his complaining. A bit like his shots when in the post.
Nah. I watched them try and i watched Nurk do thinks that made it tough to continue. Now this is even more that just makes it tougher to continue. I'm not defending Stotts overall but he might have had a point when it came to Nurkic.
It's absolutely maddening. He also seems to jump out of the scheme at times. He seems to decide to just change what he is supposed to be doing mid stream.
I appreciate when people do not pretend I am better than I really am. That way I can work on getting better. So, to answer your question, no.
