I understand that. But slaves weren't encouraged to own weapons. We didn't start gun control until the slave's descendants started owning weapons in higher numbers, and to prevent that from happening.

I'm proposing we encourage those descendants to be well versed in the operation and use of their own chosen means of defense, up to and including standard issue infantry weapons.

 

Tell that to the Whites back then, they didn't seem to grasp that which I suppose is because most frightened men don't grasp a lot of logic.

 

I think think they grasped logic just fine. But they also liked power and control, and people don't give up power and control easily.

This is the kind of guy you keep in jail. Guys like this shouldn't get out on bail or early release unless there is a noticeable and lasting profound change in them.

I watch CNN & MSNBC for my news and I noticed they talk about the suspect being apprehended but do not show his picture?

 

You don't think someone could simultaneously be against the riots/protests while also supporting the overall concept of BLM?

 

I do. Myself I support BLM, but I do not support riots with property damage and looting, setting of fires. I think it hurts the cause more than helps especially if leaders advocate for it. That's not leadership!
