One thing they need come with some urgency and yes Dame and CJ needs to play within the system.

to be fair, he has shown progress and chauncey should give him post ups and let him work

you cant give him a few games and if it doesnt work, simply give up, let him do it over and over and over, continuity is the key

Just absolutely "UGLY" this game up. That might be the best strategy.

This team don’t have the urgency to win games. They wait like January to turn it around. Maybe they’re scared or getting hurt or something.

There's no such thing as being "due" in sports, but I want a win so I will hope against hope lol.

    Go blazers!

I agree on the post-ups. If he will get set before making his move.

True, but as we've seen for a decade Dame is an outlier... an anomaly. (I mean hell, he has a song of the same name!)

    WARRIORS HEAD COACH STEVE KERR

ON THE PASSING OF FORMER LONG-TERM TEAM DOCTOR ELLIOTT SCHWARTZ:

“Before I start, I want to offer condolences to the family of Dr. Elliott Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz was our team doctor for 25 years and passed away this morning. We will honor him with a moment to silence tonight. Just a beloved figure around the Warriors for many, many years. Want to offer our condolences to especially to his wife, Patti, and son, Nathan. Just to say how sorry we were to hear the news.”

ON THE STATUS OF ANDRE IGUODALA’S SORE RIGHT KNEE:

“He had some swelling and when you get older, things take longer to heal. In my case, years. This is what happens when you have that much mileage Something happens and it keeps you out a little bit longer. It's not a long-term concern. Just wait till the swelling goes down, it’s going down and then he's got to get on the court for a few days. He'll go on the trip and get on the court, but unlikely to play on the trip.”

ON HIS EXPERIENCE WITH DAMIAN LILLARD ON TEAM USA IN THE OLYMPICS:

“It was just fun getting to know him. We played against him so many times and against the Blazers and obviously, he's a beloved figure in Oakland. We’ve had some amazing battles, so to be on his team was way more fun than going against him. I was just so impressed with him from a human perspective. Just his character, leadership, and what he meant to the Olympic team. Came through in a huge way in the gold medal game, hitting big shots down the stretch. It was really fun to be part of the staff and part of the team and getting to know Damian a little bit better.”

ON BEING DOWN THEIR TWO ROOKIES AND SOME ROTATION PLAYERS TONIGHT:

“Well, we feel like we have enough tonight to accomplish what we need to accomplish. We’ll play our usual rotation. Obviously, Moses (Moody) hasn't been a rotation (player) the last four or five games. Jonathan (Kuminga) has been playing a handful of minutes. You just felt like it was really important for them to get extensive minutes in Santa Cruz tonight. And Chris (Chiozza) will be active, so he'll see some time which is much deserved the way he’s played. so we've got a very deep team and this is one of the benefits. We can take advantage of that depth on a night like tonight.”

TRAIL BLAZERS HEAD COACH CHAUNCEY BILLUPS

ON THE WARRIORS DEFENSE AND THE DEPTH OF THEIR ROSTER:

“They have an identity here and that’s really important on both sides of the ball. They have an identity and they play extremely hard. I think Draymond (Green), he doesn’t get the credit he deserves for what he means to the culture here, on both sides of the ball actually. He's the general, he doesn’t just lead with how hard he plays he leads with his voice too. So a lot of times when you're not cutting the mustard that night he’ll share that with you. That’s just a form of leadership that I think is needed. Even offensively he's pushing that basketball as fast as any point guard in the league right now, his IQ is really high. A lot of their success is built around him. Obviously you have a natural (leader in), Steph (Curry), but I think Draymond he doesn’t get enough credit with what he does on both sides of the basketball.”

ON DEFENDING WARRIORS OTHER THAN STEPHEN CURRY:

“Yeah they do a good job. You look at what Wiggs (Andrew Wiggins) is doing this year, you look at Jordan Poole who is just playing incredible. His confidence is incredible right now, he's probably I wouldn’t say Splash Brother but maybe nephew right now. But it's been good to see his development. But again, their culture and their identity allow for so many players to play with confidence. When you know as long as you play hard the ball’s going to keep moving until it finds the right shot. Steve (Kerr) has just done a terrific job.”

ON UNIQUENESS OF THE WARRIORS’ CONSTANT MOVEMENT ON OFFENSE:

“Well personnel has a lot to do with it. I'm pretty sure that that’s the way Steve (Kerr) wants to play too. You also don’t see a lot of, any team actually, not a lot, any team that their starting four man is basically their starting point guard. Steph (Curry) barely runs pick-and-rolls, he barely brings the ball up the floor, Draymond just kind of does it all. So it's a very very unique situation, really tough to guard, because you can be paying attention to one guy here, guarding a guy on this side, when you look and the next time you look over there he's not there anymore, he's never where you left him at. That’s not just one guy. It puts a ton of pressure on your defense. They’ve figured it out, and they go out and get guys that can play that style, that can fit right into that. They’ve just done a good job, it's fun to see, it's fun to compete against. You look at our first game in the preseason, these dudes came out and they took preseason so seriously. Everybody played, they shot 69 threes against us in that first game and it was like a track meet, we didn’t know what hit us, it was supposed to be training camp. They took it very very seriously, I marvel at that in all honesty.”

The key is not to go up double digits. If we go up double digits we'll lose.
