I decided to apply for a transfer to another department - after 3 1/2 years I'm ready for a change. They are notoriously glacially slow at HR, so I'm not holding my breath, but something will pan out sooner or later. Busy in the garden, looks like a good year for peaches and apples, and the vegetables are growing. Tonight the diversity groups at work got a block of free tix for the baseball game, Giants, unfortunately, but the woman on whom I have a TERRIFIC crush is also attending. It's going to be cold, so maybe she'll share my blanket. Hey, a girl can hope!
Your Google photo history keeps track of what hispter hat you're wearing that day?!? Cool.... I guess.
Received $600 state stimulus check. Considering I needed rush plumbing job two weeks ago and this week car had to get smog check, Lucia needed shots and very old iPod died, good thing.
Taking a break from Wildlife biology work, and currently work with a company that officially codifies laws from municipalities across the nation. I pretty much spend all day reading, cataloging, indexing, editing, and proofreading laws, amendments, and ordinances. Very relaxing.
Yo You going for an Albert Einstein approach like when he worked at the patent office? Let us know when you come up with that grand unified theory of biology. You come across any of those weird "no ice cream on Sunday" laws or anything?
Yeah, pretty much every city, town, and county has a few of those bizarre ordinances. There was a fun one today about "no throwing missiles". Not sure why people wouldn't just know that one innately. But, this is America.
