i had fried baby oysters fried to perfection, golden brown and delicious on the outside and tender and juicy in the middle. Had okra and spinach on the side with golden brown fried potatoes. I too had friends over for dinner and dammit, one was allergic to shellfish. He started out with a terrible cough and died in the ambulance. It was winter and the ground was icy at the funeral and burial. His coffin slipped out of our hands and slipped down a hill and through a plate glass window stopping in front of a pharmacy counter. The clerk looked shocked as the coffin lid popped open and the poor deceased victim sat up and said "Hey Doc, you got anything that'll stop this coffin?"
