Well it has finally gotten us. Had Christmas at my sisters. Probably about 20 people there. EVERYBODY wore masks the whole time except during eating. EVERYBODY there fully vaccinated. My brother, his wife and 2 kids, my sister and her boyfriend, my mom and my dad and 2 cousins all tested positive in the last 2 days. Team allows you to bring in family to get tested everyday with us at the practice facility. So I brought them with me yesterday. MRS THE HCP tested negative, but my daughter positive, she has no symptoms. My results from last night's test are pending, but the team docs don't want me to travel to LA with the team. Here we go.
Hang in their bro....sorry to hear about your family.....I've heard there's some horse worm treatment that the vet might be able to hook you up with! (just kidding) ..heal em up my friend.....I know you hate missing Laker games.
Sorry to hear about your fams bro. Glad you're all vaccinated. Get through it and get back to work. They better pay your ass.
Glad you are all vaxxed. Hopefully minor or no symptoms. Best to you all. I just might have to send cookies for convalescence.
Good luck bro. Hope you all get through it with nothing but an inconvenience. With your attitude you will kick its butt in no time. Never met someone as excited as you were to show us around at what you do in the Moda Center.
Sorry man, no doubt you'll all be fine since you've done your part. I am sorry you'll have to go through the inconvenience though. Hope everyone feels better soon!
We'll keep this thread for thoughts and prayers and any facts or stuff about the actual virus will get moved into the mega thread.
My results from the post game test last night were negative. They still don't want me on the plane. Docs had the 3 of us out the the practice facility this morning in 2 separate cars to do a drive thru test with all the other positive players and coaches. My bad for starting another thread. Just stopped reading the thread where the Trump/Gun/Pro Life are spreading their bullshit. My daughter was doing research the last hour trying to see if it's ok for her to go jogging. I honestly didn't know what to tell her. She has no symptoms and would have been working out at the gym today anyway. Any ideas?
The responsible thing would be to stay isolated, away from anyone. What if she runs by a Grandma running around the street?
So what you're saying is I should post my facts here and you will move them into the mega thread? Thanks, that's very thoughtful of you since for some unexplained reason I am currently blocked from posting directly to that thread. Should I just post the link here or the whole article? My sincere condolences to everyone in HCP's family.
First, glad to hear you tested Negative. Hopefully it remains that way. As for your daughter jogging - in general, if she can avoid crowded places - she is probably going to be fine - even tho joggers will breath harder and thus spread more viruses. Personally, if it was really important for her - tell her to do it very early in the morning when the streets are empty, otherwise, wait 2 - 3 days to ensure she is less likely to impact others. Maybe just follow the recommendation of the 5 days without symptoms just as if she was to go to work, to be safe. Of course, if she has symptoms - just rest and get fluids is what I have heard.
