Portland is one of the worst in the league, no question.

Damn. The Blazers have to go 28-19 the rest of the way just to make .500
    Think about that?

    Still a baller.

Definitely getting dumber with his bullshit Covid post, though.

Seems like Wood is just a mess, emotionally that is. No wonder he is being traded every year. It's shocking to think you can't just go with the flow when tens of millions are at stake. Horrible attitudes.

Perhaps like Kevin Love, it's tough to get up for every game when you are getting hammered. Remind anyone of this years' Blazer roster?

Now that Cleveland is a Top-4 team, miraculously, Love is healed an contributing in a big manner again for the Cavs.

Wood has a history of being a diva. even in college i believe. not that i would necessarily mind that, especially given how nurk was before he found dame. but something to consider

Of course, but this team needs talent and he has it. I trust Dame to be the leader everyone says he is and be able to lead players like Wood or Simmons to a better version of themselves.

Attitude problems are able to be minimized by good leadership.

Mental issues like not wanting to touch the ball in the 4th quarter are tough to help someone through because you can tell them all the right things but if Simmons has pressure free throws late in a playoff game he's got to overcome that himself.

Here, Simmons wouldn't have to be the PG....very different than his role in Philly. Also, it was a small sample size compared to the rest of his career, so I'll take the much bigger sample size to work with, especially in a role where he isn't the guy with the ball in his hands as the primary ball handler.

    meyersleonard NBA career update:

My left shoulder surgery in February 2021 was successful (my 2nd left shoulder surgery) It is 100% normal and strong now.

However.. my right ankle surgery in April of 2021 was not.. Without getting into too many details..I now need more rest and another right ankle surgery sometime early this year (2022)

While I’m extremely thankful for all the teams reaching out over the last few months, I’m simply not healthy enough to play. Believe me, I would do anything to play right now if I could. But.. my long term health is also very important to me and need to do what’s right for me first.

Similar to the caption in my post.. I greatly appreciate everyone who continues to believe in me and my health & performance team that will get me back to 100% when the time is right.

God is good and life will always work out the way it’s supposed to.

    HAMMER DOWN

10 of the 12 teams playing today are under 500.

Love that team right now. Jealous of the potential and number of picks they have. Rooting for them to turn it all into something
