You could very well be right. The 6ers remain to be seen, I guess we’ll find out by the trade deadline if he’s gone. If CJ, Covington, and like 2 1sts from a Norm trade + our 2nd can’t get Simmons done, I’ll wait for the draft or free agency and I’m coming back with a lesser offer than the original.
I don’t think you can be reluctant to trade Simons away even if Simons averages 20 and 5 if it’s for Brown. If that’s the case that Ant’s performing that well, you remove a 1st. Jaylen is only 25, so he’s young in his own right and is a good defender and scorer.

Good... Good. Raise the trade value ant. Be inconsistent with them before they catch on.

I am not gonna look at trades that have Dame. Let's keep this semi-realistic. If not, I will post Lebron to Portland trades all day long. Dame isn't going anywhere.

I agree if you are saying you would only trade Anf as part of a trade for Jaylen Brown. I would not include him in a trade for Simmons.

    Simmons is a 3-time all-star, a two time all-NBA 1st team defender, and a runner-up for DPOY

    there is this:

    upload_2022-1-21_15-5-12.png

and there's an extremely strong argument that Simmons would fit much better as a starter with Dame (and the Blazers are not going to trade Dame because of Simons), while Dame/Simons would just be Dame/CJ 2.0

CJ was held untouchable for Paul George and Jimmy Butler. Now Ant is untouchable for Simmons? May be that no lesson was learned over the last 7 years. (and would this even be a discussion 10 games ago?)

I’d have an easier time rooting for Draymond, Harden, Chris Paul, Bill Laimbeer, and Hannibal Lector than Simmons. Absolutely the worst.

I have to say after watching that I almost feel like Ant is untouchable except for an in their prime star. At a minimum he’s a centerpiece for a trade not a sweetener.

Quick is now one of the best reporters out there now since he has been with the Athletic before when he was with the newspaper he got burned out and the team at the time was toxic and it affected how he reported but like I said he has really grown since leaving the paper. Just cause you do not like what he has to say does not mean he knows nothing NOW granted he only knows as much as his sources and his sources could be bad but when i read what he wrote makes sense.

lol. Yeah. Ben Simmons behavior and attitude and refusing to show up all year is undeserving of ridicule and yes everyone should be dying to have him on the team. Fuck that.

How desperately does Boston want a PG?

Good Lord, they just fell apart in the fourth with no one to direct them.
