She's plenty tough enough to handle his criticism--and totally discredit him in the process. She's handling herself fine, and he's getting roundly roasted.

And straight up, she's right about everything she said.

She didnt watch the second half against the Rams, and she's not totally right. She needs to follow the sport more.

yep mediocre, but he did take the niners to the super bowl once and he may prevent the Rams from going. he was good enough to get them there in 2019 and he may do it again in 2022.

Did he "take them" to the Superbowl or was he just along for the ride? There's a massive difference between being a catalyst and being a participant. At times the team has to actively try to play around his massive deficiencies. Why do you think they run the ball so much? He makes horrible throws constantly. You can pretty much count on at least one extremely stupid interception per game.

The Niners defense "took them" to the Superbowl in 2019 and now it's their defense and their running game. If you put an actually decent QB with Deebo and Kittle, the Niners offense would be terrifying. Jimmy sucks.

Its a team game, ask the 49'er players if they think he helped. You could say that about the Ram gun slinger who's certainly not a HOF qb.
Jimmy has been calm cool and collect in helping them get this far. I think the Rams should be favored as the niners have won what 6 in row against the Rams, so odds should favor the rams to break through.

I think Jimmy is really likeable and his teammates are being loyal.

I think a lot of the Titans were that way at the end of MM's run there. AJ Brown literally cried when Mariota was benched. I love Mariota, and I blame the Titans for running him into the ground, but he was not good at the end. He was mentally and physically broken. Didn't stop his teammates from being fiercely loyal to their QB.

What makes you think she didn't watch that game? She was specifically referencing playoff games; the prior 9ers-Rams games don't qualify.

I'm sorry, you saying that someone whose entire job is to watch and comment on football "needs to follow the sport more" is ridiculously laughable, and honestly comes off similarly to Garcia's comments. You're picking a really weird hill to die on, and it's not a good look.

So, Im not on a hill, and Im not croaking as yet, just my opinion about a commentary. I wonder if she thinks Jimmy and the 9'ers have a chance to win their 7 th in row against the Rams? It would be Jimmy's 6th as a starter?
    We will know before long.

The very best thing that could be said of Jimmy G is, he's a good game manager. His demeanor and consistency in running the offense are the counterargument to him "not helping the team win." He's a liability as a passer, but that's not all that the QB position entails.

That said, he's probably the single worst passer the starting position has ever witnessed for more than spot duty. If he's going to be wildly inaccurate, he should at least try missing short for a change, so his receivers have a chance to come back to the ball. I question his eyesight sometimes, with how much he overthrows guys. That or he's low-key dissing their speed.

That line has run its course, just like "full stop" before it. It's getting to where I picture people in a man bun when they type either one.

Your position is noted. Makes sense though-- the moment I use a phrase is generally the moment it disappears from popular use.

Rest assured my coif is bun-free.
