Germany, especially during Oktoberfest, is in my bucket list. First gotta get off hemo dialysis and on peritoneal dialysis. Unvaccinated idiots are standing in my way.
We're headed to Ft. Lauderdale this weekend for a concert at Seminole Hard Rock Cafe. Anyone ever been to a concert there? @EL PRESIDENTE?
So trying to plan out Honeymoon in May again. Thinking of flying LA to Prague, hang out there for a few days, then fly to Barcelona and then hang there. Maybe hit up some of the nearby towns or maybe Mallorca. Paris is probably another choice, but its too big and we probably want something more compact as far as city center/tourism is concerned. Good mix of different vibes. I've been to both, not sure where else to go. I really wish Asia was more open than it is, otherwise I'd go there.
I do want to do Croatia, its def on my list. I think I'd need a dedicated trip for that, personally. I'd like to see the interior, go to the Drazen Petrovic Museum, etc. I just don't think I'd have time with Barcelona. I'd really like to go see Sagrada Familia again while its under construction.
Did a last minute trip to Vegas. Man it's dead here. Really weird. I went here after the lockdown was over and it was packed. Now, really empty. I was wondering why casinos were sending some crazy offers. Anyway, we're staying at the Luxor. Pyramid corner suite, it's nice. Even has a livingroom. Free room for up to 4 days, $100 resort credit, $90 freeplay. We're staying here 2 nights and then jumping over to downtown LV for a couple of nights. Going to see what the discount tickets dues have. Of and I guess they're putting in a temporary ice skating rink in the middle of the Bellagio fountain. Holding the NHL skills competition there.
The East/West Shrine Game is Thursday, I guess Tom Brady is showing up for that. Also the NHL allstar game is being held here this weekend. Neither of those things seems to be drawing people, lol.
