Hahahahahahhahahahahahaha. Hahahahhahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Did you really write that and hit send? Hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
How about we all be a little more respectful of everyone else's opinions even if we don't agree with them. This place would be bland and boring if we all agreed with each other about everything. (Anyone who disagrees with this post will be dealt with!)
foe me, the best thing about that post is plugging it in as lyrics to Jim Croce's 'If I Could Put Time in a Bottle' it was a bit of an awkward fit compared to Cher, but not as bad a fit as Dame & CJ, or Cronin's trade & logic
We agree here. So is it harder to find a top 75 all-NBA player in his prime (even if it's the backside) or a competent person to run the front office?
Top 75 is just so unfair, if the NBA would make it the Top 3000 we could have both Dame and CJ on the list.
There are some blazer fans that are flat out stupid. I mean, it shouldn’t be surprising because driving around town I see some mouth breathing morons who have trouble using a turn signal and I’m sure some of those people are blazer fans.
Should be, but wasn't. It actually was more of a comment on his commenting style than anything else. Same with the other dude who starts each reply with "that was the worst post ever" etc; etc;... Sorry, I may not be an active member here, but I've read this place long enough to not be insulted or swayed by pretty much anything most of you opine with. For instance, earlier today, I was called a "homer', and as I've pointed out before I am not a Blazer fan, I am a NBA fan.. Maybe that allows me to see things clearer? who knows, but it definitely allows me to share my explosive comments in a less emotional fashion.
Honest non-confrontational question. If you are an NBA fan, why and where did you come across our little Blazer fandom home?
Once upon a time, before you even joined, I was a fairly active participant in your quaint neighborhood. I have seen almost every Blazer game since the beginning, 1970...And in my younger days, before social media and NBAtv, I turned down career opportunities because I didn't want to leave my beloved Portland Trail Blazers, so please, I know about fandom. But as I've gotten older, I've somewhat soured on this era...The Olshey/Lillard stuff, which, believe it or not, I am probably 100% in agreement with you and most all. But here's the thing, and I can't get into it too much...HCP is not the only person in this forum who is behind the scenes, seeing/hearing things...I work closely with the visiting teams and over time, call it "Stockholm Syndrome" or whatever, but I struggle to 100% actively "root" for just the Blazers.. I still want them to do good, being my hometown and all, but I don't bleed red and black. Acceptable answer, I hope.
That is OK, indeed. FWIW, my favorite player got traded today..Caris Lavert... Gonna have to have a chat with Joe about that one!! Peace.
One persons trash may be a other person’s treasure. What ones person finds stupid, another person may find enlightening or insightful, or an angle they had yet too see. Just sayin.
