if you cant see how the two bolded contradict each other….

You even admit they didn’t list the name. The article says AGENTS witnessed the attempted arsen, not protestors……

its okay to backtrack on that one instead of claim i have my head up my ass….

    Smfh….

    for someone so smart….

No, the wweek article says an INFORMANT tipped them off to the identity of the arsonist... But again, you only want to believe what you want to believe.
Only things that fit the world perspective you have built to make yourself feel good.

Lol... Yeah, an informant... At a protest... The police found the person at the protest, with the bag and evidence on her person... who are at protests? Wait a minute... I'll get this eventually...

    Oh, right, protestors!

and criminals and agents in the crowd, as the article YOU referenced, indicated. But you keep your assumptions as your facts. All good.

You keep telling yourself that the protestors did the right thing and none of them tried to hide the criminals, etc. ill stick with reality. ;)

It didn't say it was an agent, or even imply that. If it were an agent it would have just said agent. You say informant when it's a civilian.

So a civilian at a protest informed the police of the identity of the arsonist, and other civilians who were at many protests documented the event and made it available to police.

It is definitely a stretch to say that civilians at a protest (often referred to as "protestors") assisted the police.

you obviously didnt read the article or my post. I quoted the article stating an agent.

    reading comprehension101…

This is from the article YOU posted:

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives say they saw Bass squirt an accelerant on the main entrance of the Portland Police Bureau’s Central Precinct, which is part of the Justice Center, setting fire to the doors and an awning, court documents state.

    the first word is agents.

    how lost are you exactly??

The wweek article was about the informant... which doesn't even use the word "agent"... obviously agents were involved in some arrests, Jesus. I'd say I'm quite a bit less lost than some... There is ample evidence that civilians at protests (often referred to as "protestors") helped police document crime and identify the criminals. I've posted links which back that up.

But we are aware that you don't want to believe that, so you will continue to ignore the evidence.

why is that relevant to what you and i originally said? I quoted the FIRST article you linked. That is the one i addressed and we are discussing. That is the one i pointed out and it DOES say agent.
Anything else from you is just spin, not admitting by the facts of the article compared to what you say it said. Its fricken typed out.

i quoted the article you linked. The first word is agent.
    Cut and dry.

No, I've repeatedly said there were multiple articles, with ample data. I've referenced only two here thus far.
I'll continue to reference all available evidence, thank you very much.

and the available evidence you first quoted, directly contradicted your claim.
    Its black and white. Period.
