Re-signing Nurkic: How Much is Too Much?

yeah, I know this thread will be pointless if Nurk is traded in the next 20 hours, but if he isn't...

what would be the level of annual salary and total years you would be comfortable with?

for me, to start with, his contract should not extend past Dame's. Since Dame has a player option in 2024, then Nurk should get a 3 year deal. Be nice if the 3rd year was a team option or partially guaranteed

Toronto would be a decent fit for Nurk as they do need a legit 5 not to be a big time scorer but to pass and board/defend.
Chris Bou cher and some would be a decent get.

 

Not convinced that Nurk is a good cornerstone. He's too injury prone and inconsistent.

That's where my vote went. 3 years between 12-15 sounds fair. Make anything more than that incentive based. Maybe he'll stay on the court.
