I was thinking that during the game. If you are in the NBA you're a great basketball player. Play with heart and joy and anything can happen.

LOL Just watched a Blazers commercial. All three "Blazers" in the ad were traded this week.

happy to show the new guys our vibes. this season has been such a downer that i was scared we'd build losing habits. need a win every once in a while to recalibrate.

We get LeBron. They get the team that beat them.

That was a “Former Blazer” commercial.

Upcoming versions will include Meyers Leonard, Collins and Bazemore.

Beating the Lakers is always nice. Now, please lose every game for the rest of the season. It's not even about tanking - it's about forcing a top-to-bottom housecleaning.

Someone posted that the Blazers lineup in total made up $29,000,000 in salary. That is less than both LeBron and AD individually.

They traded their entire supporting cast for him, so even when RW doesn't play, they've still got next to no help for LeBron and AD. So, with Russ being basically a zero at this point in his career, he's the problem whether or not he plays.

I don't see anyone giving credit to Nurk?

He arguably outplayed Davis. But still you'll have "fans" hating on him and wanting to trade him for Chris fucking Boucher.

    What a joke.

Nurk was 100% better than Davis tonight and I will give him full credit for that.

I also try to not use one game to jump to any meaningful conclusion.

Nurk has had a lot of good games over his career. I did not say tonight was Nurk's only good game. I'm saying it tonights game represent 0.2% of the games he's played so pointing out how great he was tonight as proof he's an all-star would be just a valid as pointing out his awful night last night that he shouldn't be starting in the NBA. I gave him credit tonight. I've given him credit a lot of nights.

Do you feel tonights game should hold a significant amount of weight in terms of evaluating how good his career as been and his future output will be? If so, why?

I'm slightly surprised you could read my post as saying Nurk had his first good game ever and twist it into an insult. I guess some of us left this Laker game more upset than others.
